Since most of the country is hotter than jalape\u00f1o&#8217;s armpit outside we will tackle some cool treats for hot games this weekend. Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package directions. Add lime juice and strawberry puree, coating all ingredients.<\/li>\n<li class=\"o-CustomRTE\">Stir in fresh mint, and serve with crackers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"customRTE smartbody-core section\">\n<section class=\"o-CustomRTE\">\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.busybudgeter.com\/15-minute-blt-pasta-salad\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>BLT Pasta Salad<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<div class=\"ERSIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERSIngredientsHeader ERSHeading\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/div>\n<p><strong>For the Dressing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00be cup mayo (I prefer to use olive oil mayo to cut some fat &amp; calories)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bc cup sour cream<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tablespoon milk<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd teaspoon pepper<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bc teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bc teaspoon garlic powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bc teaspoon crushed red pepper &#8212; optional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the Salad:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">8 oz spiral pasta<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3-4 cups chopped romaine lettuce (or 10-oz package pre-cut romaine lettuce)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 pint grape tomatoes &#8212; halved<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 \u00bd cup shredded cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 \u00bd cup bacon bits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERSInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERSInstructionsHeader ERSHeading\"><strong>Directions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Prepare the dressing by stirring together mayo, sour cream, milk, pepper, salt, garlic powder and crushed red pepper (if using) until smooth and well-combined. \u00a0Set aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Prepare pasta according to package instructions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">When finished cooking, drain well and transfer to a large salad bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare bacon according to package instructions. Let cool. Chop into pieces.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add chopped lettuce, grape tomatoes, cheddar cheese, bacon pieces, and your prepared dressing.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Toss\/stir very well, until ingredients are well-combined.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Candy Corn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 bags of candy corn (in stores every where right now)<\/li>\n<li>peanuts (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Directions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pour in bowl<\/li>\n<li>Eat by the handful<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wprm-recipe-name wprm-block-text-bold\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thekitchn.com\/recipe-sparkling-spiked-peach-lemonade-the-10-minute-happy-hour-206387\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sparkling Spiked Peach Lemonade<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Since it is peach season this seems like an appropriate beverage for tailgating this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredients\">\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"0\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">1<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">Cup<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Granulated Sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"1\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">1<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">Cup<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Water<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"2\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">3<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">Large<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Peaches<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"3\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">6<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">Cups<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Sparkling Water or Club Soda<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"4\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">1<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">Cup<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"5\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">1 1\/2<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">Cups<\/span> <span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Vodka<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" data-uid=\"6\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">Ice<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">In a small pot, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Bring to a simmer over medium heat, and simmer until the sugar is dissolved.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Remove from heat and let cool completely.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Remove the skins from 2 of the peaches: Cut an &#8220;X&#8221; in the skin on the bottom of each one.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Drop in a pot of boiling water for about 30 seconds.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Transfer the peaches to an ice bath, and peel when cool enough to handle.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Slice each peeled peach in half and remove the pits.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cut the peaches into cubes, place in a blender or food processor fitted with the blade attachment, and process until pur\u00e9ed. Pour into a large pitcher.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Add the cooled simple syrup, sparkling water, lemon juice, and vodka.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Stir to combine. Add ice and stir again.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cut the remaining peach into thin slices.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Stir a few of the slices into the lemonade and use the others to garnish the glasses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>On the Menu<\/h3>\n<p>We hope you have a great week one of college football.
