We are officially EIGHT days away from the college football kickoff. It is time to start rounding up those recipes for tailgating season. Last week, we had the recap of all our<\/span>\u00a0Season Two Part One tailgate treats<\/span><\/a>. Did y\u2019all find some good ones? In Season Two we covered a variety of tasty treats. From bites to Wontons to treats on sticks, as well as LOTS and LOTS of Bacon! Today we will recap the second half of season two. Y’all Enjoy!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tasty Tailgate Treats Season Two Recap Part Two<\/span><\/h2>\n

BACON & School-Themed Treats\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

We kicked off November 2022 with<\/span>\u00a0Bacon Wrapped Greatness<\/span><\/a>. There are\u00a0<\/span>Bacon Wrapped Mac and Cheese bites<\/span><\/a>. Even some healthy\u00a0<\/span>Bacon Wrapped Asparagus<\/span><\/a>\u00a0treats. Well kind of healthy. As November rolled on and the top teams settled into a rhythm we tried to find the top tailgate treats to match the\u00a0<\/span>Top Five<\/span><\/a>\u00a0at the time. We had\u00a0<\/span>Boiled Peanuts<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to represent Georgia. Some Ohio State\u00a0<\/span>Buckeyes<\/span><\/a>, and even some\u00a0<\/span>BBQ Ribs<\/span><\/a>\u00a0thanks to TCU. November rolled on and so did our treats.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Toasty Treats\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Is there anything better than a crisp November afternoon full of football, friends, and food? To celebrate the much cooler weather that mid-November delivered\u00a0<\/span>Toasty Treats<\/span><\/a>. There was a\u00a0<\/span>Louisiana Hot Crab Dip<\/span><\/a>, some\u00a0<\/span>Caramel Apple Dip<\/span><\/a>\u00a0as well as some\u00a0<\/span>Polar Bear Hot Chocolate<\/span><\/a>. Then before you know it we were whipping up Tailgate Treats with\u00a0<\/span>Thanksgiving Leftovers<\/span><\/a>. Which included\u00a0<\/span>Bacon Wrapped Stuffing Bites<\/span><\/a>. Which was a gateway to MORE\u00a0<\/span>Bacon and Meatballs<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kicking Off December<\/span><\/h3>\n

With the first weekend in December full of Bacon and Meatballs. We introduced\u00a0<\/span>Slow Cooker Bourbon Meatballs<\/span><\/a>. As well as some low-carb options for those trying to avoid the Holiday weight gain.\u00a0<\/span>Low Carb Bacon Wrapped Sweet Potatoes<\/span><\/a>. Then for those who love a little holiday weight gain, we had some\u00a0<\/span>Glazed Brownies.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0The World Famous Army – Navy game always has a special Army Navy-Themed beverage post. Sometimes we even throw in a little history for those that like a story behind their recipes. Including\u00a0<\/span>Navy Grog<\/span><\/a>\u00a0which was tasty and prevents scurvy. As the year flew by we featured\u00a0<\/span>Holiday Tailgate Treats<\/span><\/a>\u00a0just to make the holidays a little more tasty and fun. Including\u00a0<\/span>New Year’s Eve and Playoff treats<\/span><\/a>\u00a0too. There was even a\u00a0<\/span>4th of July Special edition<\/span><\/a>, because why not?<\/span><\/p>\n

On The Menu<\/span><\/h3>\n

Next week we will have WEEK ONE recipes ready to roll. We will keep them as easy and tasty as possible. That first week of games you need stuff you can make ahead of time and mindlessly eat as you absorb 14 hours of football games.
