At this time next week we will have closed out the first month of the college football season. However, there’s so much more to play and we continue to see some volatility. Again, we have seen a player in Caleb Williams<\/a> who was in the top five at this point last week only to not receive a single vote this week. But, who could have made that jump? We’ll dive into that and more as we break down the contenders in our 2022 Week Four Heisman rankings.<\/p>\n

We have two new entries into the top five of the 2022 week four Heisman rankings. But, in the jostling for the top spot, who will come in number one this week? Is it Bryce Young<\/a> or C.J. Stroud<\/a>? With that, let’s take a look as we unveil our 2022 Week Four Heisman rankings.<\/p>\n

Young has taken back the top spot in this week’s Heisman race after a 385-yard, four-touchdown performance. This was the most efficient he’s looked all year, especially off of a two-interception game last week against ULM. The Tide will go into what should be their toughest matchup of the season away from home against the Razorbacks who are coming off of a close loss to Texas A&M on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The line is so fine between Stroud and Young that an interception made the slimmest of a difference this week between the two. Be that as it may, Stroud threw for 281 yards and five touchdowns as the Buckeyes demolished Wisconsin, 52-21. Even though Rutgers is improved, it should still be another opportunity for Stroud to pad his stats against the Scarlet Knights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first new entry in the top five Heisman rankings comes from the resurgent Volunteers. Fresh off their win over Florida the top 10 Vols now have a top five finalist in Hooker. He’s been one of the most prolific quarterbacks over the past two years with 39 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He’ll have an enormous opportunity in two weeks in Baton Rouge.<\/div>\n

Anderson has started to round into his 2021 form as he picked up two and a half sacks against Vanderbilt in the 55-3 victory. Anderson remains the best defensive player in the country but due to his position, he’ll have to continue to put up game-changing numbers on the defensive line. He’ll have a great opportunity this week in one of the marquee games of the weekend against Arkansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, or even Texas that has a player from the Big 12 in the Heisman top five. Believe it or not, it is actually Kansas! The Jayhawks are off to an outstanding start on the season sitting at 4-0. A huge reason is the play of Daniels. He’s accounted for 15 touchdowns on the season with only one turnover. Daniels and company host Iowa State this weekend with an opportunity to jump up in the Big 12 standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
