Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring, until melted about 3 minutes. Stir in the cocoa powder. When cool enough to handle, generously spray your hands with cooking spray and shape the cereal mixture into footballs. Add sugar and beat until combined. Stir in 3\/4 cup mini chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for two hours.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">If making a football-shaped cheesecake ball, line the inside of the bowl of your choice with plastic wrap then fill with mixture. Cover the top with plastic wrap. If you are not using a bowl, simply place the mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball. Refrigerate for a least an hour.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">To decorate and serve, remove the plastic wrap from the top of the bowl and invert the cheesecake ball onto the serving platter. Remove remaining plastic wrap. If you are not using a bowl, remove plastic wrap and serve as a ball, or use your hands to make it into a football shape.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Decorate by covering the cheesecake ball with remaining mini chocolate chips. Line 13&#215;9-inch pan with foil, letting foil hang 2 inches over sides of the pan. Grease bottom only of foil with shortening or cooking spray.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipeStep\">\n<div class=\"stepIndex\">In a medium bowl, stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, oil, water, and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipeStep\">\n<div class=\"stepIndex\">Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 1\/2 hours.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipeStep\">\n<div class=\"stepIndex\">Using foil to lift, remove brownies from the pan. With a 3 1\/2&#215;2 inches football-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies into football shapes. Pipe on decorating icing to look like football laces.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>No football cookie cutter? You can use a knife. Just cut the brownies into 12 rectangles (4 rows by 3 rows). Trim the corners of each rectangle to make a football shape. Instead of icing the cupcakes as a whole cake, I am going to have you ice each individual cupcake and arrange it in the shape of a football then add the lace details after the cupcakes are arranged.\u00a0 If you prefer more frosting arrange the cupcakes then ice the whole thing and add the laces details.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bake cupcakes<\/strong>\u2013 Chocolate cupcakes are always a good choice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Let them coo<\/strong>l- Until room temperature.<\/li>\n<li><b>Ice the cupcakes &#8211; <\/b>any canned chocolate flavor you like<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arrange them-<\/strong>\u00a0In the shape of a football.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pipe football stripes &#8211; <\/strong>With white icing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use mini cupcakes-<\/strong>\u00a0The number of cupcakes needed to create the correct shape would obviously be more but the same instructions will apply. Also, the baking time for mini cupcakes is shorter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use a big tray or cake board-<\/strong>\u00a0This will allow you to have enough space to create the correct arrangement and it also makes it easy to move the tray around during the party, if necessary.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make sure your icing is not too thick nor too thin-<\/strong> Because if it\u2019s thick, it will be hard to pipe and if it\u2019s thin, it will be too runny to create a proper design.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make sure cupcakes cool fully before decorating-<\/strong>\u00a0Because if you don\u2019t do this, the heat will melt the icing and make a sticky mess.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Refrigerate<\/strong>\u2013 Leftovers can be stored in a sealed container for up to 3 days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Freeze-\u00a0<\/strong>Unfrosted cupcakes and frosting can be frozen separately in sealed containers. When you are ready to enjoy them, let them thaw overnight in the fridge and then, follow the decorating instructions below.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Room temperature<\/strong>\u2013 Decorated cupcakes can be stored in a cardboard box for up to 24 hours as long as there is no perishable filling.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make ahead instructions-\u00a0<\/strong>These cupcakes can be baked and decorated 1 day in advance and stored in the fridge or room temperature until you are ready to serve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h3>On The Menu<\/h3>\n<p>See you next week for another Friday Football Friday Tailgate Recipe.
