Last Word on College Football Top 25 Week 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

What we thought was the weakest weekend slate of the season turned out to have seismic implications on the Top 25. The college football earthquake that was Week 11 saw three of the top four teams upset, two by unranked teams. It also saw six of the top 15 teams and 7 total Top 25 teams collapse in defeat. It’s been over three decades since the nation’s top four teams had such a bad weekend.<\/p>\n

Alabama<\/strong> maintains its place atop our standings after a dominant performance. In the aftermath of Destruction Saturday, Ohio State<\/strong> and Louisville<\/strong> move into the top four. Wisconsin<\/strong>, Oklahoma<\/strong>, Penn State<\/strong>, West Virginia<\/strong>, and Oklahoma State<\/strong> also took advantage of losses by top 15 teams to move up.<\/p>\n

We even see some Group-of-Five (G5) teams making some noise. Undefeated Western Michigan<\/strong> comes in at 10th. And Boise State<\/strong> (22nd), San Diego State<\/strong> (24th), and Navy<\/strong> (25th) find themselves in the rankings this week.<\/p>\n
