Stuff is starting to get real on the gridiron, and the pressure goes up exponentially week-by-week, especially among those teams in position to challenge for a <strong>College Football Playoff<\/strong> berth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DK\u2019s 2016 Week 11 CFB Game Picks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All game times in Eastern Standard Time.<\/p>\n<p>Last Week: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a07-3 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(.700)<\/p>\n<p>2016 Season:\u00a0 67-33 (.670)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;Upset&#8221; Special of the Week<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>West Virginia @ Texas \u00a0(Saturday, November 12<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong>, 12:00 p.m., FS1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bookmakers\u00a0in the desert have the <strong>Longhorns<\/strong> as a two point favorite in this game. What do they know that we do not? We know that <strong>Charlie Strong<\/strong> is coaching for his job, and we know that his team has not quit. The Horns have been tough at home, but West Virginia is explosive. <strong>Skylar Howard<\/strong> and the <strong>Mountaineers<\/strong> will get the win.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: West Virginia 42, Texas 24<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong><em>\u201cBe Careful Here\u201d Game of the Week<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Baylor @ Oklahoma (Saturday, November 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 12:00 p.m., ABC\/ESPN2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oklahoma<\/strong> holds the inside track for the <strong>Big XII<\/strong> title. Two weeks ago, this contest appeared as if it would decide the winner of the conference.\u00a0<strong>Mike Stoops\u2019<\/strong> defense has struggled mightily all season. Luckily for the home team, though, Oklahoma\u2019s offense has not. <strong>Semaje Perine<\/strong> is expected back, and Oklahoma will march on toward that conference championship.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Oklahoma 48, Baylor 40<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong><em>\u201cBe Careful Here\u201d Game of the Week #2<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Penn State @ Indiana (Saturday, November 12<sup>h<\/sup>, 12:00 p.m., ABC\/ESPN2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Nittany Lions<\/strong> hold the tiebreaker over <strong>Ohio State<\/strong> courtesy of that head-to-head victory a couple of weeks ago. This gives them a chance to win the <strong>B1G East<\/strong>, given a specific set of circumstances. <strong>PSU<\/strong> is one of the nation\u2019s hottest teams, having reeled off five consecutive victories. Indiana sits one win shy of bowl eligibility, and would love nothing more than to cement that status with an upset win at home. Penn State brings the superior running game to <strong>Bloomington<\/strong>, and will leave it with a win.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Penn State 28, Indiana 21<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auburn @ Georgia (Saturday, November 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 p.m., CBS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Auburn can win the <strong>SEC West<\/strong> as long as it wins out. A win between the hedges would go a long way toward making that possibility more real. Auburn struggles to pass on offense, but its running game is the nation\u2019s third best. Georgia\u2019s defense is mediocre, and the <strong>Bulldogs<\/strong> struggle to move the ball. This game will be close early, but the <strong>Tigers <\/strong>will pull away late.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Auburn 31, Georgia 17<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong><em>Trap Game of the Week<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Texas Tech @ Oklahoma State (Saturday, November 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 p.m., FS1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Cowboys<\/strong> have won five straight, and they remain in the hunt for the <strong>Big XII<\/strong> title. Texas Tech has been up and down this season, but <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/patrick-mahomes-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Mahomes<\/a><\/strong> is a constant threat to throw for 1,000 yards. Oklahoma State better not look past the <strong>Red Raiders<\/strong> toward games against <strong>TCU<\/strong> and rival Oklahoma. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/mike-gundy-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Gundy<\/a>\u2019s<\/strong> squad will maintain just enough focus to grind out a win and remain on track.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Oklahoma State 52, Texas Tech 48<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech (Saturday, November 12<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong>, 3:30 p.m., ESPNU)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Hokies<\/strong> are enjoying a highly successful debut season for new <strong>Head Coach<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/justin-fuente-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Justin Fuentes<\/a>. <\/strong>His partnership with long-time <strong>Defensive Coordinator<\/strong> Bud Foster has proven effective. Most impressively, <strong>Ed Orgeron\u2019s<\/strong> first two wins came without a healthy <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/leonard-fournette-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Leonard Fournette<\/a><\/strong>. The Tigers bring their star RB to <strong>Fayetteville<\/strong> this weekend, where they will grind out a win over the <strong>Razorbacks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: LSU 27, Arkansas 21<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mississippi @ Texas A&amp;M (Saturday, November 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 7:30 p.m., SECN)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ole Miss<\/strong> will burn\u00a0<strong>Shae Patterson\u2019s<\/strong> redshirt this week, in the wake of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/chad-kelly-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chad Kelly<\/a>\u2019s<\/strong> career-ending injury last week. The young man will gain game experience, but starting on the road against the <strong>Aggie<\/strong>s and the <strong>12<sup>th<\/sup> Man<\/strong> is less than ideal. The <strong>Trojans<\/strong> have been a different team since going to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/sam-darnold-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sam Darnold<\/a><\/strong> at QB. They will play for their sixth consecutive win at <strong>Husky Stadium<\/strong> on Saturday, and for\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/clay-helton-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clay Helton<\/a>&#8216;s <\/strong>first signature win. Expect this game to be a physical affair, and a possible Pac-12 Championship Game preview. This one will come down to <strong>UDub\u2019s<\/strong> home-field advantage, and its advantage on the sideline. Washington will march on.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Washington 38, USC 34<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><em><strong>Surprise Good Team Game of the Week<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Minnesota @ Nebraska (Saturday, November 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 7:30 p.m., BTN)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/tommy-armstrong-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tommy Armstrong<\/a><\/strong> suffered a scary-looking first half injury last week, but he appears to have cleared the concussion protocol this week. Expect Armstrong to start. The <strong>Gophers<\/strong> are sneaky good this season, and they are currently tied atop the <strong>B1G West<\/strong> with the <strong>Cornhuskers<\/strong>.
