Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 315 pounds, the Cochran, Georgia, native has a massive stature on the offensive line. To back that up, Mims is incredibly strong and is a menace to any defender trying to get pressure. Mims will likely start for multiple years with Georgia before going on to the NFL.<\/p>\n
Mims is coming off of an 8-5 season with the Bleckley County Royals. Their season ended this past week with a 27-24 loss to Rabun County in the Elite Eight of the Georgia High School Association AA football playoff. Mims racked up some individual accolades, as well. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution named him to their Super Eleven. He also received selections to the Under Armour All-American game, as well as the Polynesian Bowl.<\/p>\n
The addition of Amarius Mims is a huge pickup for the Georgia Bulldogs.
