This Red River matchup is the epitome of 2020. We were primed to see a top 10 matchup, a Heisman matchup, and the winner would take control of the conference and have a leg up in the College Football Playoff race. All of those goals are seemingly history for both schools. Both defenses have been abysmal early on in the season and this has all the makings of a shootout. The loser of this game is effectively out of the conference race before we hit the middle of October, while the winner still has a chance to creep back into the race if they can get on a roll. The Seminoles are struggling on offense and were embarrassed by Miami 52-10 two weeks ago and struggled with FCS Jacksonville State last week.
