The <strong>\u2018Eers<\/strong> roll on this week on the road.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: West Virginia 38, Oklahoma State 35<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><strong><em>\u00a0\u201cBe Careful Here\u201d Game of the Week<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Washington @ Utah (Saturday, October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 p.m., FS1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rice-Eccles Stadium<\/strong> provides one of the best home-field advantages in all of college football. People have learned that Washington is one of the very best teams in the country this year, but many are still sleeping on 1-loss Utah, who still has a very good chance to win the <strong>Pac-12 South<\/strong>, especially if it can get a win today. The <strong>Utes<\/strong> will prove to be a very difficult out, but this <strong>Husky<\/strong> team is special. <strong>Heisman<\/strong> candidate QB <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/jake-browning-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jake Browning<\/a><\/strong> will lead his team to a critical conference road win.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Washington 28, Utah 24<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong><em>\u201cUpset\u201d Special of the Week<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Baylor @ Texas (Saturday, October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 p.m., ABC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Texas has not lost a game at home in 2016. Baylor is undefeated, but has amassed that record against a series of not-very-good teams. Baylor aspires to win the <strong>Big XII<\/strong> and crash the <strong>CFP<\/strong> party, while Texas is scratching and clawing just to qualify for a bowl game. Look for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/shane-buechele-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shane Buechele<\/a><\/strong> to light up the scoreboard and pull out a huge upset win for embattled coach <strong>Charlie Strong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Texas 42, Baylor 38<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Florida vs. Georgia (Saturday, October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 p.m., CBS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The world\u2019s largest outdoor cocktail party sees two flawed but talented teams arrive for a Week 9 <strong>SEC East<\/strong> showdown. Florida still holds the inside track to the division title, but <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/nick-chubb-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nick Chubb<\/a><\/strong> may have something to say about that. Nebraska is undefeated, but has struggled to have that fact noticed by the nation\u2019s CFB fans. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/tommy-armstrong-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tommy Armstrong<\/a><\/strong> deserves respect, but so does that nasty Badger defense, led by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/tj-watt-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">T.J. The Cardinal have nothing to lose, as its offense is currently ranked <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">#146th<\/span> #126th out of 128 FBS teams. Arizona brings a losing record into this contest, although the <strong>Wildcats<\/strong> are the only team to give Washington a struggle so far this season, taking the undefeated <strong>Huskies<\/strong> to overtime. So, who will win this game?<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Avoid this game like the plague. I ain\u2019t picking this one&#8211;neither should you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clemson @ Florida State (Saturday, October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 8:00 p.m., ABC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/deshaun-watson-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deshaun Watson<\/a><\/strong> is flying below the <strong>Heisman<\/strong> radar, which is a ridiculous thought. This week, though, his Tigers can effectively end the <strong>ACC Atlantic<\/strong> <strong>Division<\/strong> race. Florida State is tough at home and is absolutely loaded, talent-wise, but Clemson is significantly better across both lines of scrimmage. The <strong>Tigers <\/strong>will win comfortably.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: Clemson 38, Florida State 21<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Texas Tech @ TCU (Saturday, October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 p.m., ESPN2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/patrick-mahomes-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Mahomes<\/a> put up pinball machine numbers last week at home against conference-leader Oklahoma. TCU\u2019s defense ranks #87 in scoring in the FBS, which feels like a recipe for disaster. QB <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/kenny-hill-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenny Hill<\/a> is have a pretty good season himself, though, and he\u2019ll have another big game this week at home, in the friendly confines of Amon G. Carter Stadium. Texas Tech will be outpointed in another barn burner this week.<\/p>\n<p>Pick: TCU 55, Texas Tech 52<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boise State @ Wyoming (Saturday, October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 7:00 p.m., CBSSN)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wyoming is one of the most improved teams in the country, and <strong>War Memorial Stadium<\/strong> is a tough venue for visiting teams, both because of its fan base and because of its altitude, which is the highest amongst FBS team stadiums. Boise State has flirted with disaster, but has thus far avoided it.
