Eighty-eight million dollars was promised to four former Ohio State<\/strong> Buckeyes<\/a> in NFL free agency last week.<\/p>\n

The NFL just completed its second week free agency, but that doesn\u2019t mean teams quit looking for help.<\/p>\n

Two more teams signed former Ohio State<\/a> Buckeyes in free agency this week, including a fifth defensive back. While most teams Ohio State to help on defense, the first offensive free agent finally agreed to a deal.<\/p>\n

The NFL will look to the draft to fill in some holes, where Ohio State will also be well represented. OSU tied for second with the most invites to the NFL Combine, and will have 14 players in the draft.<\/p>\n

Until then, the NFL will have to find players in free agency, and there are still plenty of Buckeyes available.<\/p>\n

Carlos Hyde<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Rod Smith<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Ted Ginn Jr.<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Michael Bennett<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Darron Lee<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0Kurt Coleman<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Nick Vannett<\/h3>\n

Nick Vannett<\/strong><\/a>, who caught a crucial touchdown pass in the 2015 CFP National Game, will be joining the Denver Broncos<\/strong><\/a> for the next two years.<\/p>\n

Vannett will be joining his former teammate Jeff Heuerman<\/strong><\/a>, who were two key pieces in the Buckeyes\u2019\u00a0 championship run. They will both be playing behind 2019 first round pick Noah Fant<\/strong><\/a>, but will both be used to help Melvin Gordon<\/strong><\/a> in the run game.<\/p>\n

Vonn Bell<\/h3>\n

Many were saying that Vonn Bell<\/strong><\/a> was the best safety in free agency, but it still took a week for him to find a new team.<\/p>\n

The Cincinnati Bengals<\/strong> signed Bell<\/a> to a 3-year, $18 million deal on Wednesday.\u00a0After being replaced by former Buckeye Malcolm Jenkins<\/a><\/strong> in New Orleans, Bell will join Sam Hubbard<\/strong><\/a>, Billy Price<\/a><\/strong>, Michael Jordan<\/a><\/strong>, and Isaiah Prince<\/strong><\/a> in Cincinnati.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
