The junior tailback has a big choice to make after the season. Does he leave to the NFL or return in 2020 for his senior season? Whatever he chooses, the fact is that Edwards-Helaire has cemented his place in LSU history as one of the best running backs to wear the purple and gold.<\/span><\/p>\n Justin Jefferson<\/a> has emerged onto the scene in 2019. Playing alongside Terrace Marshall<\/a> and Ja\u2019Marr Chase<\/a> has given Jefferson the opportunity to develop as a player. Chase set the SEC record for receiving touchdowns in a season. Jefferson and Chase are both 1000-yard receivers. Marshall has become a great asset to the receiving group in 2019. Though he was out for a few games with a foot injury, his production picked up right where he left off. This trio of receivers for LSU could make the claim as the best receivers to come through Baton Rouge. But that\u2019s a story for another day.
