Tua Tagovailoa<\/a> <\/b>enjoyed another 300-yard performance in just a little over a half. He continues to set a pace that has just never been seen at the quarterback position. His 25 touchdowns against zero interceptions lead the country from an efficiency perspective.\u00a0Kyler Murray<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>has jumped back into the mix with his four-touchdown performance against TCU. He has done the unimaginable thing in Norman which has made people not miss\u00a0Baker Mayfield<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>quite so much. Now, how does the rest of the field shake out in our week eight Heisman rankings?<\/p>\n

The Ohio State Buckeyes suffered their first loss in the season on Saturday. Their 29-point setback also impacted Dwayne Haskins<\/a><\/strong>. Even though he threw for 472 yards, he has dropped in this week’s rankings. Could we have a defensive lineman and a kicker in our rankings? Let\u2019s take a look as we dive right into our week eight Heisman rankings.<\/p>\n

Any injury concerns in Tuscaloosa were answered in an emphatic fashion against Tennessee on Saturday. Tagovailoa has still not played into the fourth quarter this season. He threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns in a little over a half against the Volunteers. Alabama will have its toughest test as they travel to Baton Rouge to face LSU on November 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Murray and the Sooner offense came off of the bye week with guns blazing. Oklahoma put up 52 points on the best defense in the Big 12. While only throwing for 213 yards, he did have four touchdowns through the air. The Sooners will have an opportunity to put up similar numbers on Saturday against Kansas State.<\/p>\n

Talk about a bounce back. The Mountaineers hammered Baylor 58-14 on Thursday night. Grier threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns. West Virginia was in control early leading 41-0 at halftime. The Buckeyes struggled on both sides of the ball against Purdue in a 49-20 setback. The offense was held out of the end zone until the fourth quarter and then the defense faltered in giving up 28 points in the final period. However, the stat sheet was again stuffed by Haskins as he did throw for 470 yards on 73 passing attempts. The Buckeyes are off this week before hosting Nebraska on November 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
