Since the Under-19 National Team&#8217;s inception in 2010, the American roster has been filled with top quality talent.<\/p>\n<p>From the likes of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GurlTo01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Todd Gurley<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MathTy00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyrann Mathieu<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/nkeal-harry-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">N&#8217;Keal Harry<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/dandre-swift-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">D&#8217;Andre Swift<\/a>, the opportunity to wear the red, white, and blue is an honor players don&#8217;t pass up.<\/p>\n<p>On National Signing Day, the latest crop of Team USA members\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/USNationalFootballTeam\/photos\/a.144024625613545.28558.133435486672459\/2062141900468465\/?type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced<\/a> their intentions for the next level.<\/p>\n<h1>Team USA Signees<\/h1>\n<h3>Jacob Copeland &#8211; WR<\/h3>\n<p>Team USA&#8217;s highest-ranked wide receiver, <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Jacob-Copeland-78979\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jacob Copeland<\/a>, decided to take his talents to Gainesville.<\/p>\n<p>The four-star prospect, who was originally committed to Florida before backing off his pledge in November after the coaching change, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JCope1era\/status\/961401651012820992\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recommitted<\/a> to the Gators on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Florida has always been a top school for me and Coach Mullen going there just made it official,&#8221; Copeland told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seccountry.com\/florida\/florida-recruiting-jacob-copeland-commits\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SEC Country<\/a>. &#8220;He and Coach Gonzales have been recruiting me since they were at Mississippi State and we just kept it going at Florida. They got a new coaching staff and I like what they&#8217;re doing. They have a good background.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Pensacola, Florida native chose the Gators over Alabama, Florida State, and Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Listed at 6-foot, 192-pounds, Copeland was a priority target for new head coach Dan Mullen. His playmaking ability is a welcome addition to Florida&#8217;s receiver group.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2018-Football\/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&amp;Position=WR\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">No. 12<\/a> wideout in the nation by 247Sports, the Under Armour All-American caught 29 passes for 613 yards and two touchdowns last season at Escambia High School.<\/p>\n<p>With the way the Gators&#8217; offense has struggled over the past few years, Copeland&#8217;s the type of talent that can revitalize their anemic attack.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lSPWYILMZx4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Jaylon Reed &#8211; CB<\/h3>\n<p>Team USA cornerback <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Jaylon-Reed-88654\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jaylon Reed<\/a> declared he&#8217;s headed to Starkville.<\/p>\n<p>The three-star prospect, who decommitted from Tennessee and Mississippi State during his recruitment, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheJaylonReed\/status\/961405493876019200\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recommitted<\/a> to the Bulldogs on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was down there all weekend and they reassured me that I was a priority,&#8221; Reed said to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarionledger.com\/story\/sports\/high-school\/2018\/02\/07\/olive-branchs-jaylon-reed-signs-mississippi-state\/314139002\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clarion Ledger<\/a>. &#8220;That made the difference in the end. I knew Sunday before I left Starkville I was committing there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Olive Branch, Mississippi native chose Mississippi State over Ole Miss, Memphis, and Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Listed at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, Reed hopes to be in the secondary rotation for the Bulldogs&#8217;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/statistics\/team\/_\/stat\/passing\/position\/defense\/sort\/passingYardsPerGame\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">12th-ranked<\/a> pass defense this fall.<\/p>\n<p>The Mississippi All-Star record 56 tackles, two interceptions, and 18 pass deflections last season at Olive Branch High School.<\/p>\n<p>As a <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2018-Football\/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&amp;State=MS\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">top-20<\/a> player in the Magnolia State, Reed&#8217;s the latest Mississippian to stay home and play in-state.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.hudl.com\/embed\/video\/3\/6363710\/59b8831f386e282c0443a309\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Nigel Bethel Jr. &#8211; CB<\/h3>\n<p>Another Team USA cornerback decided to play at home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Nigel-Bethel-86997\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nigel Bethel Jr.<\/a>, who was previously committed to Florida, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/F5_nigel\/status\/955625304902520832\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pledged<\/a> to Miami on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I love Miami. I wanted to stay close to home,&#8221; Bethel stated to <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/college\/miami\/Bolt\/Breaking-CB-Nigel-Bethel-has-committed-to-Miami-105331687\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">InsideTheU<\/a>. &#8220;At first the coaches were telling me that they had a lot of DBs committed, but then they got a chance to see my film and they just said that they want me bad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The three-star prospect chose the Hurricanes over UCF and Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Listed at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds, Bethel Jr. has a chance to make an early impact next season as starting cornerback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/malek-young-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Malek Young<\/a> suffered a career-ending neck injury in January.<\/p>\n<p>The Miami, Florida native played on both sides of the ball last year at Northwestern High School.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He really stretched the field for us as a wide receiver,&#8221; Northwestern head coach Max Edwards expressed to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/sports\/high-school\/prep-recruiting\/article196129869.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miami Herald<\/a>. &#8220;He also did a tremendous job at corner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ranked as a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2018-Football\/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&amp;State=FL\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">top-250<\/a> player in the Sunshine State, Bethel Jr. adds to Miami&#8217;s talented 2018 secondary haul.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.hudl.com\/embed\/video\/3\/8037753\/59f600a99a9b6d0d38d358b2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Tavion Thomas &#8211; RB<\/h3>\n<p>Team USA running back <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Tavion-Thomas-46036670\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tavion Thomas<\/a> revealed he&#8217;s going to the Buckeye State.<\/p>\n<p>The three-star prospect, who was committed to Oklahoma at first, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tavionthomas937\/status\/961303327853219840\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signed<\/a> with Cincinnati on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I ain&#8217;t want to go too far from home, I wanted my people to be able to come to the games,&#8221; Thomas voiced to the <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/college\/cincinnati\/Article\/Tavion-Thomas-Signs-With-Cincinnati-114808539\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bearcat Journal<\/a>. &#8220;Then when I went to Cincinnati, they really wanted me and they put a plan together for me. They have been in touch with me before I even really considered Cincinnati. They never really left me alone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Dayton, Ohio native chose the Bearcats over Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Listed at 6-foot-2, 225-pounds, Thomas expects to be an immediate contributor to Cincinnati&#8217;s ground game this fall.<\/p>\n<p>The Offense-Defense All-American rushed for 1,007 yards on 150 carries with 11 touchdowns last season at Dunbar High School. He also caught eight passes for 110 yards and one score.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked as a <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2018-Football\/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&amp;State=OH\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">top-15<\/a> player in the state of Ohio, Thomas is a major coup for Cincinnati and head coach Luke Fickell.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.hudl.com\/embed\/video\/3\/6006070\/5a14790632dcee24ac870f6c\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>LaMarius Benson &#8211; OL<\/h3>\n<p>Team USA offensive lineman <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Lamarius-Benson-45572559\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LaMarius Benson<\/a> publicized his intentions to relocate to Orlando.<\/p>\n<p>The three-star prospect, who was initially committed to South Carolina, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bensonboy14\/status\/959569834047627265\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pledged<\/a> to UCF on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I first got to UCF, I didn&#8217;t know anyone,&#8221; Benson told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.covnews.com\/sports\/eastside\/national-signing-day-eastside-linemen-end-long-recruiting-journey-satisfying-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Covington News<\/a>. &#8220;Then I got to talk to the coaches, and I began to feel wanted there. Everything just felt natural.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Covington, Georgia native chose the Knights over South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Listed at 6-foot-3, 330-pounds, Benson has the potential to be a mainstay up front for UCF in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked as a <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2018-Football\/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&amp;State=GA\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">top-150<\/a> player in the Peach State, the East Side High School product is a big win for new head coach Josh Heupel as he looks to continue the Knights success next season.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.hudl.com\/embed\/video\/3\/4251926\/581f7cef3bd81437e4708def\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Ches Jackson &#8211; OL<\/h3>\n<p>Team USA&#8217;s starting right tackle <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/ches-jackson-46039150\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ches Jackson<\/a> disclosed where he&#8217;ll attend college this fall.<\/p>\n<p>The three-star prospect, who was committed to Appalachian State at one point, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chesjackson62\/status\/961355547764232195\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signed<\/a> with Colorado State on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>With the Rams losing three starting offensive linemen to graduation, Jackson has an opportunity to get on the field next season.<\/p>\n<p>The Tifton, Georgia native chose Colorado State over Appalachian State.<\/p>\n<p>Listed at 6-foot-5, 270-pounds, Jackson has the ability to develop into a quality blocker for the Rams.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked as a <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2018-Football\/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&amp;State=GA\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">top-250<\/a> player in the Peach State, the Tift County High School product brings much needed size and skill to Fort Collins.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.hudl.com\/embed\/video\/3\/5251150\/5a3802f102b1f405b8b9dd1b\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Geno Albini &#8211; LS<\/h3>\n<p>Team USA long snapper <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/geno-albini-46037454\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geno Albini<\/a> is moving to Tucson.<\/p>\n<p>The Dripping Springs, Texas native accepted a preferred walk-on spot and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GenoAlbini\/status\/959867908481601538\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">committed<\/a> to Arizona on National Signing Day.<\/p>\n<p>As the Wildcats had frequent issues on field goal and punt snaps last year, Albini fills a crucial need for new head coach Kevin Sumlin.<\/p>\n<p>The Wimberley High School product received interest from Arkansas, TCU, and Texas A&amp;M before deciding on Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked as the <a href=\"https:\/\/kohlskicking.com\/national-player-ratings\/long-snappers\/2018\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">No. 18<\/a> long snapper in the country by Kohl&#8217;s Kicking, Albini will look to win the starting long snapper job in fall camp and solidify the position for his duration in the Grand Canyon State.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Albini recently attended the Spring Texas Showcase and showed again why he needs to be one of the higher rated snappers in the country,&#8221; a Kohl&#8217;s Kicking coach stated. &#8220;He has continued to refine his technique and is snapping with a quick and explosive motion.
