Four-Star OT Joshua Braun signs with Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top offensive commits. Four-star offensive tackle Joshua Braun has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a terrific signing for the Gators as Braun committed to the Florida Gators last week. Mullen likes Braun’s skill set and he could get a lot of playing time as a true freshman. Braun is one of five offensive lineman in Florida’s 2020 recruiting class with Issiah Walker, Gerald Mincey, Richard Leonard and Jovens Janvier.

Who is Joshua Braun?

Joshua Braun is a four-star offensive tackle out of Suwannee High School in Live Oak, Florida. He is one of the top offensive lineman in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Braun was committed to Georgia before flipping to Florida last week. Braun has always been a very highly ranked recruit and is now a part of the Florida Gators recruiting class. Braun signed with Florida over Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and South Carolina.

On 247Sports, Braun is the 231st ranked recruit and the 19th ranked offensive tackle in the country. On ESPN, Braun is the 290th ranked recruit and the 11th ranked offensive guard in the country. The Gators have added a very solid offensive tackle who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early enrollee, Braun will be able to develop and learn the playbook earlier than most freshmen.
