Three-star WR commit Ja’markis Weston signs with Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators have officially signed their top offensive line commit in four-star offensive guard Yousef Mugharbil.

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their longest offensive commits. Three-star wide receiver and Florida commit Ja’markis Weston has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a nice signing for the Gators as Weston was committed to the Florida Gators since Jim McElwain was the head coach. Florida head coach Dan Mullen likes Weston’s skillset as he is a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators offense in the future. This is the second WR Mullen has signed at Florida in this class. Ja’markis Weston is the second wide receiver that will sign with the Florida Gators recruiting class with Dionte Marks.

Who is Ja’markis Weston?

Ja’markis Weston is a three-star wide receiver out of Clewiston High School in Clewiston, Florida. The Florida wide receiver commit is one of the top wide receivers in the state of Florida. He was a tough get for the Gators as Florida had to battle with Penn State and Tennessee for Weston. He really took off in recruiting once he committed to Florida and Penn State pushed to flip him. Weston signed with Florida over Penn State, UCF and Tennessee.

On the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Weston is the 561st ranked recruit and the 72nd ranked wide receiver in the country. On ESPN, Weston is the 79th ranked recruit in Florida and the 44th ranked wide receiver in the country. The Gators have added a really solid wide out who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early signee, Weston is locked in the Florida Gators 2019 recruiting class. Weston has really good size at 6’4” 200 pounds and could be a red zone threat at Florida.
