Three-Star OLB Commit Jesiah Pierre Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators have officially signed their top offensive line commit in four-star offensive guard Yousef Mugharbil.

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top defensive commits. Three-star outside linebacker and Florida commit Jesiah Pierre has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida flipped him from the Miami Hurricanes. Mullen likes Pierre’s skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators defense in the future. This is the fifth linebacker Mullen has signed in his first two recruiting classes at the University of Florida. Jesiah Pierre is the fourth linebacker in the class with Diwun Black, Mohamoud Diabate and Tyron Hopper.

Who is Jesiah Pierre?

Jesiah Pierre is a three-star outside linebacker out of Mount Dora Christian Academy in Mount Dora, Florida. The Florida outside linebacker commit is one of the top linebackers in the stat of Florida. He was a tough get for the Gators as Pierre was originally committed to Miami for over a year. Pierre really took off in recruiting once he committed to Florida and schools recruited him harder. Pierre signed with Florida over Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Nebraska, North Carolina and Wake Forest.

On the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Pierre is the 702nd ranked recruit and the 42nd ranked outside linebacker in the country. On ESPN, Pierre is the 67th ranked recruit in Florida and the 32nd ranked outside linebacker in the country. The Gators have added a solid outside linebacker who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early enrollee, Pierre will be able to learn the playbook quicker and might get some playing time. Pierre was considered to be Miami’s secret weapon maybe Pierre can make an impact at the University of Florida.
