Whose serve has been your favourite to watch all-time?
« on: August 05, 2020, 10:15:46 pm »

For me, Sampras and Ivanisevic --- probably because that was the era I watched a lot of tennis for the first time.

For pure service motion, I have to think Roddick or Federer.

Federer and Roddick are both good, but there's surely none better than Pierre-Hugues Herbert. I could watch him serve all day.

I'm a sucker for Karlovic's serve, something about that pure power and the insane angles he can create due to his height.
Ivanisevic is a great shout though

Does anyone remember Marcelo Rios, a former world no 1 and Australian Open finalist? He was great to watch in his prime.

Karlovic for speed, Roddick for motion, Federer for placement and recently, Isner for power. Also, watching Nadal serve on clay is always a beauty.

Boris Becker at Wimbledon.

It's how I fell in love with tennis

Roddick and Kyrgios. Also like Ivanisevic's serve from the matches I've seen.
