Title: Top 5 Future MVPs
Post by: JordanHaddock on August 16, 2020, 04:50:18 pm
I'm talking guys under 25 that'll be in the convo for years to come. For me,

Tatum
Booker
Luka

are three guys I think are destined for multiple MVPs.

I'll go

Tatum
Simmons (Assuming he develops a jump shot and becomes a 24+ PPG scorer)
Luka

Might be reaching on this one too early but potentially Ja?

I think you nailed the three you had.

I'll add:

Zion
Morant - Though he's likely to be just below MVP level throughout his career.
Simmons - IF he adds a jumper AND is separated from Embiid.

The explosiveness reminds me a lot of Westbrook. Obviously Westbrook is in a tier of his own, I'm curious to see if Ja can reach the peak that Westbrook has achieved. In addition, he has a very good basketball IQ for his age

Man there's so much great young talent in the league right now.

(no order)
Tatum
Booker
Zion
Morant
Luka

All these dudes could win an MVP. Simmons and Mitchell have tremendous upside as well. Trae could maybe get there. The future is BRIGHT in the NBA.

Long shot...but worth it

De'Aaron Fox

-Raised PPG from 11 to 21 in three seasons
-2P% from 43-53%
-7 apg

Needs to improve 3P%, but I could see him making a run in 2-3 seasons
