Knicks vs Bucks Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks to win

Here are some of our NBA betting lines and Knicks vs Bucks odds from Caesars Sportsbook:

Why the Knicks can cover the spread?

The Knicks would never stand a chance against the Bucks in a playoff series but somehow they managed to win the last two times they visited Milwaukee. It seemed like Tom Thibodeau did a great job with the Knicks last year. Julius Randle became an All-Star out of nowhere, Derrick Rose was one of the best sixth men in the league and New York finished fifth in the Eastern Conference making their first playoff appearance in 8 years.

When the Knicks started this season with a 5-1 record it seemed like they will be even better but at the halfway mark of the season, they are 11th in the East with 23-26.

What the Knicks lack is consistency and on a good night, they can certainly defeat the Bucks or at least be close to that. If RJ Barrett continues to play as he does in the past month and Evan Fournier has a decent shooting night, the Knicks might upset the defending champions.

Why the Bucks can cover the spread?

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently fifth in the East they will not settle for that. The Bucks finished the last two seasons as the top seed in the East and they will give their best to repeat that once again. Aiming that, games like this one against the Knicks is a must-win, even more with the fact that they are coming off a loss from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Giannis Antetokounmpo is fully recovered and the Knicks will feel that on Friday night.

Can the Knicks make the playoffs?

The Knicks fans packed up the Madison Square Garden in the two playoff games last season and that might be the only playoff basketball they will witness in a while. These Knicks are not playing as well as they did last year. Kemba Walker didn't meet the expectations and Julius Randle has dropped significantly. RJ Barrett has taken over the leading role but he will not be able to take the team on his back.

Can the Bucks repeat?

The Milwaukee Bucks showed tremendous talent in last season's playoffs but even more, they showed a winning mentality. What Giannis Antetokounmpo did hasn't been seen many times in the history of the league and if he stays healthy, the Bucks can definitely defend the title. Much will depend on Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton and both players seem ready for another deep playoff run.
