College Football Player Props: 3 Bold Picks for Georgia vs. TCU

The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs will square off against No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs on Monday night for the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

Both teams are loaded with offensive talent, so there should be plenty of scoring in this one.

Here are three player props from football betting sites to consider for the big game.

Max Duggan over 0.5 rushing touchdowns

Max Duggan has proven all year that he doesn’t mind putting the team on his back. The Horned Frogs will need a masterpiece from the Heisman runner-up to hang with Georgia on Monday night.

Duggan’s entire bag of tricks should be on display at SoFi Stadium, including his rushing prowess. The senior ran for 461 yards on the season and was second on the team in rushing TDs with eight.

When the going gets tough, expect Duggan to pull a keeper and take matters into his own hands.

Stetson Bennett over 272.5 passing yards

One more win for Stetson Bennett will catapult him into rare air. A victory over TCU would make Bennett just the fifth quarterback in the last 50 years to start for back-to-back championship squads.

The 25-year-old senior is coming off his best game of the season, where he picked apart OSU for 398 passing yards and three touchdowns. He added a rushing TD for good measure.

The Horned Frogs have yet to put up much resistance to the pass this season, allowing a chunky 243.6 YPG.

Bennett has surpassed 272.5 yards in three of his last five and has an excellent chance to do it again while etching his name in the history books.

Brock Bowers to score a touchdown

Brock Bowers leads the Georgia Bulldogs in every receiving category and should be primed for a monster game in the limelight on Monday.

The young tight has elevated his game in the last two contests (SEC title game, CFP semi-final), tallying 10 catches for 145 yards and a score. He’ll now have a chance to showcase his skillset on the biggest stage of them all.

The 20-year-old has nine total TDs on the year (6 receiving, 3 rushing) and has scored in two of his last three. He won’t be eligible for the NFL draft until 2024, but his stock will continue to rise with a big night in LA.
