His young career has been plagued with injuries. Ball is only 23 years old and shows a tantalizing upside that can intrigue any bettor. He only played 27 games last season and has only played over 60 games once in his four-year career. Ball averaged 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game last season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ball\u2019s health could be the main factor in whether the Hornets overcome their projected win total. In his career with the Hornets, they have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statmuse.com\/nba\/ask?q=what+is+the+hornets+record+with+lamelo+ball+since+2020-21\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">won<\/a> 44.6% of their games when he plays and only 31.3% <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statmuse.com\/nba\/ask\/what-is-the-hornets-record-without-lamelo-ball\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">without him<\/a>. They also picked up <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/greenjo02.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh Green<\/a> from the Dallas Mavericks and recently signed <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/gilesha01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Harry Giles III<\/a> to a one-year contract. Miller is in his second season with the Hornets. He had a very solid rookie season and it is reasonable to expect another jump in his sophomore season. Bridges is also primed for improvement after his solid season back after missing the 2022-23 season. He averaged over 20 points a game last year in 69 games for the Hornets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If LaMelo is healthy and the Hornets&#8217; other young players improve, winning 30 games shouldn\u2019t be difficult for the Hornets. The problem is that those are both big ifs.
