The Storm finished the season as the fifth seed, and the defending champion Aces finished as the fourth. Both rosters are full of the best WNBA players, so expect a high level of play in this series. Las Vegas leads 1-0, making Game 2 a must-win for Seattle. The Storm have all the tools to extend the series, but the Aces have the confidence of champions. They followed their title with a 27-13 season, ending on a 9-1 run. Led by the powerhouse trio of <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/w\/wilsoa01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A&#8217;ja Wilson<\/a>, <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/p\/plumke01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kelsey Plum<\/a>, and <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/y\/youngja01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jackie Young<\/a>, the Aces fourth place finish is somewhat surprising. Despite not finishing at the top, Wilson unanimously won the WNBA MVP award. They currently are +280 to repeat as WNBA champs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Aces ended the season 19-20-1 against the spread and 10-10 at home. The scoring total has gone under seven times in their last eight games. They are 4-1 in their last five home games, a record they will look to improve on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Storm Have the Talent\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seattle ended the season with a 25-15 record. The combination of four All-Star level players in <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/l\/loydje01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jewell Loyd<\/a>, <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/d\/diggisk01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Skylar Diggins-Smith<\/a>, <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/o\/ogwumnn01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nneka Ogwumike<\/a>, and <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/m\/magbeez01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ezi Magbegor<\/a> gave Storm fans high hopes this season. Now, they are long shots at +9500 to win the championship. Magbegor is questionable for Tuesday\u2019s game with a concussion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Storm finished the season 19-21 against the spread and 1-4 in their last five. They have been trending under lately, going 2-6 on totals. Las Vegas are -450 to win straight up, and Seattle is +330. In Game 1, Wilson led the Aces, scoring 21 points and recording five blocks to help secure a 78-67 win over the Storm. The two-time defending champions clamped down defensively, limiting Seattle to just two free throws in the fourth quarter to pull away late.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diggins-Smith led Seattle with 16 points and eight assists, with <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/w\/williga01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gabby Williams<\/a> chipping in 14 points and eight rebounds. Ogwumike posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/h\/horstjo02w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Horston<\/a> added 10 points off the bench. It still wasn\u2019t enough to get past the stifling Aces defense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las Vegas covered the -9.5 spread, and the total went under the oddsmaker&#8217;s projections. In their four regular season matchups, the Storm won and covered the first game, and the Aces won and covered in the next three.
