The Miami Heat roster is going to look pretty similar as it did last season. Non-impact players like <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hamptrj01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RJ Hampton<\/a> won\u2019t be on the Heat roster, but if they have similar injury luck they\u2019ll need to hire similar mercenaries to fill minutes. The Heat gave an injury <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/sports\/nba\/miami-heat\/article292272680.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">update<\/a> on <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/r\/roziete01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Terry Rozier<\/a> and <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jovicni01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nikola Jovic<\/a>, players who will need to be healthy next season for the Miami Heat roster. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Key Miami Heat Players Give Injury Updates<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Terry Rozier and Nikola Jovic Injuries<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Heat update comes as good news for Miami fans. Both Rozier and Jovic are expected to be integral parts of the Miami roster for next season, and starting the season healthy is extremely important. He played 31 games for them before missing the last 11 games and the playoffs with a neck injury. The Heat eventually diagnosed Rozier with neck spasms and he just announced that he is still recovering but expects to be ready by training camp.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rozier told\u00a0reporters of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/sports\/nba\/miami-heat\/article292272680.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miami Herald<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cWhere I\u2019m at right now is just about fully, fully, fully cleared to play 5-on-5.\u201d This bodes well for the Heat roster as they will surely need a healthy Rozier to compete in the NBA Southeast division. In his 31 games with the Heat last season, Rozier averaged 16.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. He finished the season as a starting <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/2024\/09\/02\/top-5-nba-power-forwards-heading-into-the-2024-25-season\/\" target=\"_self\">power forward<\/a> for the team, averaging 7.7 points and 4.2 rebounds on the season. His numbers were even better once he got the starting position. These statistics are improvements from his rookie year numbers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The young Serbian is dealing with an ankle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketnews.com\/news-208055-nikola-jovic-provides-injury-update-says-serbia-shouldnt-respect-team-usa.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">injury<\/a> he had before the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/2024\/09\/04\/stephen-currys-team-usa-gold-medal-hasnt-really-sunk-in\/\" target=\"_self\"> Olympics<\/a>. Jovic says he still wanted to play for his country regardless of his injury status, and he did. He said, <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMy biggest goal was to just be there and be with the team and help them as much as I can and play.\u201d <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although he might not have had as significant a role as he would have if healthy, Jovic still averaged 10.9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiba.basketball\/en\/events\/mens-olympic-basketball-tournament-paris-2024\/teams\/serbia#statistics\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">minutes<\/a> per game for the Serbian team. He along with some <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jokicni01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nikola Jokic<\/a> heroics, helped Serbia grab a bronze medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. He now says he is basically 100% healthy and ready for the season. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the current Miami Heat roster and depth chart currently stand, both Rozier and Jovic will likely be in the starting lineup.
