In 16 games, he averaged 27.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists.<\/p>\n Edwards\u2019 stock grew further over the summer as he competed with Team USA for a gold medal in the Paris Olympics. He proved an important player off the bench, striking up a fearsome partnership<\/a> with Kevin Durant.\u00a0<\/a> Barring injury, it is likely that Edwards\u2019 growth continues to soar rapidly.
