This will keep him locked up through the 2025-26 season. Recently, the future Hall of Famer spoke about wanting to remain with the Warriors for the rest of his career.

“I mean, I can clearly say I want to be a Warrior for life,” Stephen Curry told Yahoo Sports in an interview Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas. “It’s always been my goal, and I’m saying that sitting in this chair right now, but like you said, life, and especially life in the NBA, it is a wild environment, and things change quickly.”

The 36-year-old has spent his entire 15-year career with the Warriors so far. In that time, he has been a four-time champion, a two-time MVP, a one-time NBA Finals MVP, and a 10-time All-NBA selection among many other accolades.

Jonathan Kuminga

Kuminga has been one of Golen State’s brightest stars since the team drafted him in 2021. With the Warriors, the 21-year-old has averaged 11.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Each year, Kuminga’s role has grown and he has gradually gotten better. It is evident the Warriors have long-term plans for Kuminga. Furthermore, the Warriors reportedly declined to include Kuminga in trade talks for Paul George, who ended up signing with the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason.

“The Warriors offered multiple combinations of expiring contracts, young players and an unprotected 2027 first-round pick, sources said. The Warriors resisted because Kuminga is so important to their own future, sources said, but also because they worried George wouldn’t be as interested in joining them if they gave up too much to get him.”

Kuminga and Moody each have one year remaining on their rookie deal.

Moses Moody

Like Kuminga, the Warriors drafted Moody in the 2021 NBA Draft. Additionally, he has also seen his role grow over time. Last season, the guard averaged 8.1 points and 3 rebounds per game. Both were career highs for Moody.
