Meanwhile, the school patiently awaits to hear back from Darius Adams, Tyler Jackson, and Kiyan Anthony.

Syracuse 2025 Recruiting Class Taking Shape

Darius Adams, a 4-star combo guard from La Lumiere School, is the highest ranked recruit to receive an offer from Adrian Autry and Cuse. He is ranked 21st in the ESPN Top 100, 5th best at his position, and 1st overall in his state. Adams has shown the ability to score in transition, coming off screens, and in spot-up situations. With a large offensive repertoire, the crafty guard should have no issue scoring for the Orange.

One might worry about Adams’ frame given the level of physicality in college, but that’s something he can work on. Given that he wouldn’t be on campus until 2025, Darius could fill out before then. Another area of concern is the large amount of schools who have also offered Adams a scholarship including Alabama, Florida State, Washington, Rutgers, Michigan, Providence, Kansas, Indiana, and St. John’s.

Interestingly enough, Adams is from the same town as ESPN Basketball Analyst Doris Burke. They both come from Manasquan, NJ, a borough in Monmouth County on the Jersey Shore.

Tyler Jackson, a 4-star point guard with Overtime Elite, is ranked 37th in the ESPN 100, 7th in his region, and 1st in his state. He visited Syracuse this past January, and has showcased his talents at numerous camps such as Nike EYBL. Jackson possesses great ball-handling skills, a nice mid-range touch, and has no fear when it comes to driving inside.

Like Adams, Jackson has a wiry frame. But again, that can be fixed with time. Jackson is from Baltimore, like other players who have attended Syracuse, such as CJ Fair. He also happened to be teammates at EYBL with another Syracuse recruit, whose last name may sound familiar to Orange fans.

Syracuse Basketball Legend’s son being recruited

Kiyan Anthony is a 4-star recruit playing for Long Island Lutheran High School. Syracuse Women’s Basketball just so happens to have an incoming freshman who played for Long Island Lutheran as well. He is ranked 45th out of the ESPN 100, 9th overall at his position, and 1st in his State.

Obviously, there is a lot of pressure on the young Anthony to follow his father’s footsteps. With that comes a lot of expectations from fans to be just as good as his dad was, a tall task. Anthony stands at 6-foot-4 175 pounds. Like Carmelo, Kiyan uses his frame to create space against tight defenders, and has a very quick release. Also, much like his old man, he utilizes the triple threat position to keep defenses guessing as to where he’s going to shoot from.

Hopefully, Syracuse can land all 3 recruits. This would put them at the top of the list for 2025 Recruiting Classes. We should see Orange Autry start targeting big men like forwards and centers. Eddie Lampkin is a senior and Naheem McLeod won’t be around forever.

Syracuse’s 2025 Recruiting class is taking shape, as four ESPN Top 100 Recruits have received offers from the Orange, with one already committed.
