Having his best season since 2013, Young was a key player for the Lakers last year. He played in 60 games and averaged 26 minutes per contest. Young can still contribute to a team in many ways.

Looking forward, Young will provide solid wing play for Golden State, as he’s capable of shooting over 40 percent from beyond the arc. Known as a sharpshooter, Young can be a key player off the bench for his new team. The Warriors may need Young to replicate his form with the Lakers last season in order to be championship favorites in the 2017-18 season.

Young is heading into his 10th season in the league, during which he’ll be 32 years old. Until this point, he has played for the Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, and both Los Angeles teams. Drafted by the Wizards 16th overall in 2007, Young spent the past four seasons with the Lakers.

Check out the LWOS 2017 NBA Free Agency Tracker for all of your NBA free agency coverage, and be sure to follow @LastWordHoops on Twitter to stay up-to-date with the latest NBA news.

Main Photo:

Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J.
