In order for a player to be eligible, his average draft position must have been after 180. The average draft position was taken from FantasyPros which uses three websites to come up with the list (Yahoo, ESPN, and CBS Sports). While drafts vary in rounds and amount of participants, 180 is the amount selected in a 12-team, 15-round league.

Fantasy Basketball All-Mostly Went Undrafted Team For 2023-24

G – Donte DiVincenzo, New York Knicks

Signed by New York in the offseason, Donte DiVincenzo was expected to be a key reserve for the Knicks in 2023-24. It was fairly evident early on though that he was outperforming expectations, and he took over as the starting shooting guard over the since-traded Quentin Grimes.

Donte DiVincenzo now holds the Knicks record for most 3s in a season pic.twitter.com/B1CWJhk5Cs

— New York Basketball (@NBA_NewYork) March 30, 2024

On the season, DiVincenzo has connected on 270 three-pointers. That is the third-most in the league only behind Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic. The sixth-year player is easily averaging a career-best 15.4 points per game.

G – Cam Thomas, Brooklyn Nets

Entering the season, it was widely assumed that Mikal Bridges would be the leading scorer for the Nets. Instead, it has been the 22-year-old Cam Thomas.

Thomas is 27th in the league in scoring at 22.2 points per contest. That more than doubles the 10.6 he averaged in 2022-23. He has made 132 three-pointers which is more than the 98 he combined for over his first two seasons.

F – Jalen Johnson, Atlanta Hawks

After constant trade rumors surrounding him, John Collins was finally traded away from the Hawks in the offseason. That opened up more playing time for Jalen Johnson, and he has fully capitalized on it.

In 2022-23, Johnson averaged 5.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists, not even close to fantasy roster-worthy. This season, the 22-year-old has seen those averages skyrocket to 16.1, 8.7, and 3.6 respectively. Even with the expanded role, Johnson is still shooting 50.8% from the field.

F – Deni Avdija, Washington Wizards

The Wizards have not been a good team by any stretch, but at least they witnessed improved play from Deni Avdija. The 23-year-old is beginning to show the potential expected when he was selected ninth overall in 2020.

After shooting just 43.1% from the field over his first three seasons, Avdija is up to 51.0% in 2023-24. His 14.6 points per game average easily surpasses his previous career-high of 9.2 last season. He is also averaging 7.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists which are both career-highs.

C – Isaiah Hartenstein, New York Knicks

Mitchell Robinson suffered a major ankle injury in December that he only recently returned from. That allowed Isaiah Hartenstein to be inserted into the starting lineup and become a very useful fantasy performer.

On the season, Hartenstein has helped in many fantasy categories. He is averaging 8.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks. While not attempting a lot of shots, he has made 64.3% of his field goal tries.

Other Fantasy Basketball Players in Consideration

Others who were in consideration include Grayson Allen, Nick Richards, Andrew Nembhard, Keyonte George, Max Strus, Malik Beasley, Duncan Robinson, and Kelly Olynyk.

With many fantasy basketball leagues ending on Sunday, waiver wire pickups likely helped numerous people come out on top.
