To that point, consider that All-Star forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/r\/randlju01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Julius Randle<\/a> has only played 46 games this season. 25-year-old rim-protector <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/r\/robinmi01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mitchell Robinson<\/a> has missed 50 straight games after completing surgery to repair a stress fracture in his ankle. Robinson is second in Knicks history in career blocks (594).<\/p>\n<p>The Knicks provided several injury updates on Monday, with the most notable news being Robinson\u2018s anticipated return.<\/p>\n<h2>Knicks Trio Receive Major Injury Updates Ahead of Playoffs<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cOf the three big injured players for the Knicks, [Robinson], as expected, is <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/03\/26\/sports\/alec-burks-misses-knicks-win-vs-pistons-with-shoulder-injury\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the closest to a return<\/a>,\u201d per the New York Post\u2019s Stefan Bondy.<\/p>\n<p>Bondy adds that Robinson was \u201ca full participant in a practice last week,\u201d \u201cis moving quite well,\u201d and \u201cjust needs a little bit more time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Randle, who has been out since late January with a dislocated shoulder, \u201cis feeling good but hasn\u2019t been cleared yet for full contact,\u201d per SportsNet New York\u2018s Ian Begley.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Julius Randle is feeling good but hasn\u2019t been cleared yet for full contact, Tom Thibodeau says. However, although the 29-year-old has \u201cbeen in this stage of rehab for a few weeks,\u201d he \u201chasn\u2019t had setback.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Mar. 12, 3-and-D wing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/a\/anunoog01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OG Anunoby<\/a> returned to the lineup after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on Feb. 8. to remove a loose bone fragment from his elbow. After three games, Anunoby suffered a setback as elbow pain flared up. With that said, it\u2019s imperative that they return sooner rather than later.
