Chris Bosh<\/a><\/strong> announced in a podcast for Uninterrupted<\/strong><\/a> earlier today that he’s healthy enough to play next season for the Miami Heat<\/strong>. The 11-time All-Star<\/strong> forward missed the second halves of the past two seasons, a total of 67 games, due to blood clot episodes.<\/p>\n

Chris Bosh Announces He Is Healthy Enough to Play<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bosh claimed in the podcast<\/a>, “I\u2019m ready to play…I am in incredible shape, at least decent enough.” These are encouraging signs from Bosh, who has mostly remained quite with regard to his health. Prior to this announcement, it was unknown whether he would be healthy enough for the start of the season, or if he would even be able to play at all this year.<\/p>\n

Depending on the severity of the case, blood clots can be career-threatning or even life-threatening. Thankfully for Bosh, 32,\u00a0his condition will allow him to continue\u00a0to play in the NBA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bosh holds career averages of 19.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49.4% from the field. He has been with the Heat since 2010, where he has won two championship rings alongside LeBron James<\/a><\/strong> and Dwyane Wade<\/a><\/strong>. Bosh and forward Udonis Haslem<\/a><\/strong> remain the only players from the 2012 and 2013 championship teams still with the franchise.<\/p>\n

Bosh’s presence in the Heat lineup will undoubtedly make a huge impact, but it still seems unlikely for this version of the Miami Heat, without Dwyane Wade<\/a>, to make the playoffs. Goran Dragic<\/a>, Hassan Whiteside<\/a><\/strong>, and Bosh will have to rely on improvement from youngsters Tyler Johnson<\/a><\/strong> and Justise Winslow<\/a><\/strong> if they want to become a competitive team.<\/p>\n

It’s important to note that the Heat’s official medical staff have not yet cleared Bosh to play.<\/p>\n
