The top seed in the Eastern Conference\u00a0may have gotten the break it so badly needed against the Chicago Bulls. Currently, the Celtics trail 0-2 to the number 8 seed. He started 42 games on a team that was bad at times and terrible at times. Rondo\u00a0also received a one game\u00a0suspension.\u00a0He disagreed\u00a0with team leaders\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/wadedw01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dwyane Wade<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/butleji01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jimmy Butler<\/a> <\/strong>publicly on social media.\u00a0Wade was inactive for at least three games. Rondo was dressed but unused by Coach <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hoibefr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fred Hoiberg<\/a> <\/strong>during a five game stretch.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Regular Season Sins Forgiven<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To start the post season, coach Hoiberg chose to start Rondo against his old team, the Celtics. Rondo was a key component\u00a0for Boston\u00a0during their\u00a0last title run, so there&#8217;s some backstory to this. In the two games against his former team, Rondo was magnificent. He averaged 11.5 points, 10 assists and 8.5 rebounds per game. He played 33 minutes per game. Most importantly, the Bulls won both games in Boston.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What&#8217;s Next for the Bulls<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Bulls will turn to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/grantje02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jerian Grant<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/cartemi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Carter-Williams<\/a><\/strong> to fill in. More responsibilities now fall on the shoulders of star player Butler and veteran champion Wade. Will the Bulls show the resolve to consolidate the home-court advantage they\u00a0wrestled away from the Celtics in Boston? Can Wade\u00a0(who has been playing well) continue to play at a high level to\u00a0provide the much needed support for Jimmy Butler?
