Here is the injury report of all six games on the NBA docket for October 29.\u00a0 The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder open up action this afternoon. Meanwhile, there are five contests on the main slate.<\/p>\n<h2>2023-24 NBA Injuries (Oct. 29): Who&#8217;s In and Out &amp; The Impact On Teams<\/h2>\n<h3>Denver Nuggets (2-0) at Oklahoma is City Thunder (2-0), 3:30 p.m. (ET)<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/2023\/10\/25\/nba-shootaround-nuggets-starting-five-taurean-prince-james-harden\/\" target=\"_self\">Denver<\/a> lists two players on the injury report. Vlatko<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/cancavl01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>\u00a0Cancar<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/huffja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jay Huff<\/strong> <\/a>have been listed as out. However, neither player was going to have an impact on today&#8217;s game. Cancar is out indefinitely following offseason surgery, and Huff, on a two-way contract, is an end-of-bench type player.<\/p>\n<p>Oklahoma City also has listed two players out, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/willija07.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jaylin Williams<\/strong><\/a> (hamstring) and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/willike04.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> Kenrich Williams<\/strong><\/a> (back).\u00a0 Both players were expected to have a role this season, but neither has played this year.<\/p>\n<h3>Atlanta Hawks (0-2) at Milwaukee Bucks (1-0), 7:00 p.m. (ET)<\/h3>\n<p>Similar to the Nuggets and Thunder, there is not much going on with the Atlanta Hawks injury report. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/matthwe02.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Wesley Mathews<\/strong><\/a> (calf), the only player on the 15-man roster on the report, is out, and has yet to play this year.<\/p>\n<p>Milwaukkee will be without starting forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/middlkh01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Khris Middleton<\/strong> <\/a>(knee). The Athletic&#8217;s Eric Nehm said that Adrian Griffin said that Middleton won&#8217;t play due to injury management as the Bucks are playing the first of a back-t0-back. Connaughton started several games at small forward for the Bucks last year. He averaged nearly 10 points and six rebounds in his 33 starts in 2022-23.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/crowdja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jae Crowder<\/strong><\/a>, who played 27 minutes in the season opener, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/crowdja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Marjon Beauchamp<\/strong><\/a> also project to see a bump in minutes.<\/p>\n<h3>Houston Rockets (0-2) at Golden State Warriors (1-1), 7:00 p.m. (ET)<\/h3>\n<p>Houston&#8217;s depth, as young as it is, was supposed to be a strength. The Rockets have already given minutes to 15 different players. The Rockets have three players listed as out against the Warriors. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/e\/easonta01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Tari Easton<\/strong><\/a> (leg) has yet to play and is expected to be out for at least another week or two. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/o\/oladivi01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Victor Oladipo<\/strong> <\/a>(knee) may or may not play this year, though he is slated to amp up his workouts this week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/l\/landajo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jock Landale<\/strong><\/a>, who is the Rockets backup center, will miss his second straight game with a concussion. So,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/marjabo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> Boban Marjanovic<\/strong><\/a> will likely see a few minutes behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hintona01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alperen Sengun<\/strong><\/a>, as he did against San Antonio on Friday. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hintona01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Nate Hinton<\/strong> <\/a>(ankle) is listed as probable. Saric has rebounded the ball well in 17 minutes per game.<\/p>\n<h3>Portland Trail Blazers (0-2) at Philadelphia 76ers (1-1), 7:30 p.m. (ET)<\/h3>\n<p>Portland has one significant injury listed, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/s\/simonan01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Anfernee Simons<\/strong> <\/a>remaining out. Simons (thumb) is out for the next four to six weeks.<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/2023\/10\/28\/nba-rumors-how-portland-trail-blazers-replace-anfernee-simons-in-lineup\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong> Shaedon Sharpe<\/strong><\/a>, who was fantastic in the Trail Blazers last game, will start at shooting guard again.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hardeja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>James Harden<\/strong><\/a> has yet to be deemed ready to play by the Philadelphia 76ers and will miss his third straight game. Conversely, Los Angeles only has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bostobr01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Brandon Boston Jr.<\/strong><\/a> (left quadriceps) on their report, and he is out. Boston has yet to play this season.<\/p>\n<h3>Los Angeles Lakers (1-1) at Sacramento Kings (1-1), 9:00 p.m. (ET)<\/h3>\n<p>The Los Angeles Lakers lists three players on their 15-man roster on the injury report.
