Pierce is now 15<sup>th<\/sup> on the list, with 26,397 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Clippers rolled over the Rockets in the match-up, 125-96<\/p>\n<p>Pierce\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBAcom\/status\/851663144804122624\/video\/1\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">record setting shot <\/a>came off a drive from the left side of the basket with 2:45 left in the fourth quarter. With the victory over the Rockets, Doc Rivers <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LAClippers\/status\/851808329441476608\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">celebrated his 216th win<\/a> as a Clippers head coach, the most in franchise history.<\/p>\n<p>Rivers <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LAClippers\/status\/851669501321945088\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">passed<\/a> <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=dunlemi02,dunlemi01&amp;search=Mike+Dunleavy&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Dunleavy<\/a><\/strong>, who has 215 wins\u00a0with the franchise.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Clippers Set Franchise Record for Most Triples in a Single Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As a\u00a0team the Clippers also set a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LAClippers\/status\/851657031270318080\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new record <\/a>during their win over the Rockets: most three-point field goals made in a single season.<\/p>\n<p>The Clippers were 10 for 26 from behind the arc, bringing them to 831 made triples for the season.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>One Win Away from Home Court Advantage in Round 1<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Clippers strong finish in the regular season (10-2 in last 12 games), has put them in good position for Round One of the Playoffs.
