On Tuesday, Malik Beasley<\/a><\/strong> of the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> was sentenced to 120 days at Hennepin County Workhouse with work release and home confinement option. In the offseason, he signed a 4-year $60 million contract<\/a> to stay in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Beasley’s charges included a felony drug possession charge and felony threat of violence in September. According to a criminal complaint, he pointed a rifle at a family’s SUV. The family was at the end of Beasley’s driveway while touring homes in the area. Beasley approached the vehicle with his rifle and proceeded to tell the family to get off of his property. He kept the rifle trained on the vehicle as it drove away. Police later found almost two pounds of leafy marijuana on the property, which is illegal to possess in Minnesota.<\/p>\n
