Now, where will the top 10 free agents this summer land?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Predicting Landing Spots for Top Free Agents<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>First Five<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>10.<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/i\/ibakase01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Serge Ibaka<\/a><\/strong> &#8211;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/los-angeles-lakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Los Angeles Lakers<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ibaka has enjoyed great success in Toronto. He&#8217;s still capable of being a major game-changer for a title-contending team. With that said, there&#8217;s no better player to play with than <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jamesle01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LeBron James<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If Ibaka is hungry for another title, landing in Los Angeles would only improve one of the most feared frontcourts in the league. The fit is there with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/howardw01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dwight Howard<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/couside01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeMarcus Cousins<\/a><\/strong> set to be free agents.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>9. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bogdabo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bogdan Bogdanovic<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/sacramento-kings\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sacramento Kings<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Bogdanovic has the potential to be a star elsewhere, but he&#8217;s entering the summer as a restricted free agent. His name was thrown around during the trade deadline, but he stayed in Sacramento and even became a starter.<\/p>\n<p>The Kings have plenty of youthful talent and keeping Bogdanovic would be key for their first playoff appearance in years.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>8. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/haywago01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gordon Hayward<\/a>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/boston-celtics\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston Celtics<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Hayward has shown improvement this season after his horrific injury. He&#8217;s been crucial to the Celtics&#8217; surge as one of the league&#8217;s top teams.<\/p>\n<p>With a player option for $34 million at hand, Hayward will be returning to Boston.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>7. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/gallida01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Danilo Gallinari<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/miami-heat\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miami Heat<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Heat pushed for Gallinari during the trade deadline but were unable to finalize a deal. The Italian international has continued his hot play, however, and has been a key factor in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/oklahoma-city-thunder\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>&#8216;s rise in the playoff standings.<\/p>\n<p>His shooting will be welcomed in a young line-up alongside veteran leader <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/butleji01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jimmy Butler<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>6. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/v\/vanvlfr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fred VanVleet<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/toronto-raptors\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Toronto Raptors<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>VanVleet has emerged as a star in Toronto after the 2019 playoffs and his play this season. He&#8217;s a fan-favorite as well and has shown no desire to leave.<\/p>\n<p>At only 26-years-old, he&#8217;ll sign a long-term extension with the Raptors and eventually form an elite duo alongside <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/s\/siakapa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pascal Siakam<\/a><\/strong> once <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/l\/lowryky01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kyle Lowry<\/a><\/strong> leaves.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Top Five<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>5.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/drumman01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Andre Drummond<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/cleveland-cavaliers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>First off, Drummond has said that he plans on picking up his player option. With that in mind, the Cavaliers showed improvement after the Drummond trade. They traded for the big man for low value, but he should be in their plans.<\/p>\n<p>With\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/s\/sextoco01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Collin Sexton<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s improved play and what should be a top-five pick in the draft, the Cavs have a chance to build something.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>4.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/derozde01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeMar DeRozan<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/atlanta-hawks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlanta Hawks<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget about DeRozan. Sure, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/san-antonio-spurs\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Antonio Spurs<\/a> won&#8217;t make the playoffs this season, but the former All-Star is averaging just about 22 points, six rebounds, and six assists per game.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/y\/youngtr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trae Young<\/a><\/strong> is entering star status, and the Hawks should surround him with more talent before the other lower-tier Eastern Conference teams finish their rebuilds.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>3.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/harremo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Montrezl Harrell<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/new-york-knicks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Knicks<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Harrell is excelling off the bench this season, but he&#8217;s ready for a major starting role. The Knicks&#8217; experiment of signing as many power forwards as they could this past offseason was yet another failure, but Harrell is different. He comes from a winning environment and is actually a piece to build around.<\/p>\n<p>The Knicks have a decent young core and Harrell would be a much better fit than\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/r\/randlju01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Julius Randle<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/i\/ingrabr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brandon Ingram<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/new-orleans-pelicans\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Orleans Pelicans<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ingram is having a break-out season and even secured his first All-Star appearance. In addition, his fit with budding star\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/willizi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zion Williamson<\/a><\/strong> has been superb. The two have a chance to form one of the league&#8217;s top duos, so look for Ingram to sign a long-term extension.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>1. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/davisan02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anthony Davis<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/los-angeles-lakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Angeles Lakers<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Like Ingram, Davis isn&#8217;t going anywhere. The Lakers have been the top team in the Western Conference, and arguably the favorite to win the championship.
