With the NBA trade deadline just one day away, there is still an influx of trade rumors and scenarios all across the league. The trade deadline is still set to occur Thursday, Feb. 6th at 3 p.m. ET\/12 P.M. PT.\u00a0Multiple teams seek to take advantage of the trade deadline to clear up cap space and rearrange their rosters before the post-All-Star weekend stretch.<\/p>\n
According to Miami Heat insider Greg Lief Slyvander<\/a>, the Heat have shown interest to Warriors’ forward Draymond Green<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While the deal is intriguing, multiple issues could hinder this possibility, including cap space, Green’s current contract (4-year, $100 million) or getting another team involved. However, the Heat can have another blockbuster trade by bringing in a 3-time champion and former Defensive Player of the Year into their roster. Green is currently averaging 8.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists.<\/p>\n In yesterday’s four-team, 12-player trade, the Houston Rockets<\/a> <\/strong>sent centers Clint Capela<\/a> <\/strong>and Nen\u00ea<\/a> <\/strong>to the Atlanta Hawks.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n P.J. Tucker<\/a> <\/strong>will currently be at the center position, but the Rockets are “closing in” on a trade for a center, according to Kelly Iko of The Athletic<\/a>. Houston is currently talking to two Eastern Conference teams to propose a deal.<\/p>\n Iko didn’t indicate who specifically Houston is talking to; however, East centers Tristan\u00a0 Thompson<\/a><\/strong> and Andre Drummond<\/a><\/strong> are believed to available. Other Eastern Conference centers believed to be available is Deandre Jordan<\/a><\/strong> and Julius Randle<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Trading away Capela and Nene has left Houston in an ideally tough spot at the center position. Tucker is 6’5 at 245 lbs, which is not ideal for a center.
