The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/brooklyn-nets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Nets<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/los-angeles-lakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>, and even the <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/los-angeles-clippers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Angeles Clippers<\/a> have power duos on their roster. Those teams are playoff made and built to win now. There are five future NBA contenders teams that have been silently building for the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Five NBA Teams Built For The Future<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><b>5. New Orleans Pelicans<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The New Orleans Pelicans snagged the number one pick in the 2019 NBA draft lottery and selected\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/willizi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zion Williamson<\/a><\/strong>, from Duke. The Pelicans also made another fantastic move when they traded away franchise cornerstone\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/davisan02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anthony Davis<\/a><\/strong> to the Lakers. They were able to add more young pieces around Williamson in\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/balllo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lonzo Ball<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/i\/ingrabr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brandon Ingram<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hartjo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh Hart<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and a veteran in<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/holidjr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jrue Holiday<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><b>4. Atlanta Hawks<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/atlanta-hawks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlanta Hawks<\/a> have the potential to be scary good. Is it fair to say <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/y\/youngtr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trae Young<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>may have a ceiling close to that of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/curryst01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stephen Curry<\/a><\/strong>?\u00a0Probably not, but he will be a great point guard in the future. To surround him with young talents like\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/collijo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">John Collins<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/huertke01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevin Huerter<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/huntede01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">De&#8217;Andre Hunter<\/a><\/strong>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/05\/29\/cam-reddish-is-a-potential-superstar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cam<\/strong> <strong>Reddish<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0gives the Hawks an incredible young core.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>3. Phoenix Suns<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Year after year the <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/phoenix-suns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Phoenix Suns<\/a> land a high pick in the draft, pick a good player and stay terrible. Maybe, their luck can change this upcoming year. Their star player\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=bookede01,bookede02&amp;search=Devin+Booker&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Devin Booker<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0is already arguably a top 25 player in the NBA. The Suns have paired him up with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/a\/aytonde01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deandre Ayton<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and rookie\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/05\/28\/jarrett-culver-can-be-as-impactful-as-joe-johnson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jarret<\/strong> <strong>Culver<\/strong><\/a>. Can this be the Suns team that grows together and performs well? If they do, they will be a team that will compete in the future years. The Suns should, however, use some of their assets and try to trade for an impact veteran or two.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Sacramento Kings<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/sacramento-kings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sacramento Kings<\/a> team has been through a lot in past years.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those days have come and gone, and the Kings are stacking their young players in hopes of making a haymaker team in the future. Their star PG, <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/f\/foxde01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">De&#8217;Aaron Fox<\/a><\/strong> had a breakout year last year and showed his potential of being a top ten point guard in the future. The other young players such as\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/baglema01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marvin Bagley<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hieldbu01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buddy Hield<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>can also develop nicely in the league. If they can learn to play together with chemistry, and they live up to their potential, watch out NBA.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>1. Chicago Bulls<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/nba-teams\/chicago-bulls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chicago Bulls<\/a> fans have struggled a lot in past years. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/butleji01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jimmy Butler<\/a><\/strong> wanted to leave the franchise.<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/r\/rosede01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Derrick Rose<\/a><\/strong> and his terrible injury. For a team that was amongst the elite in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jordami01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Jordan<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0years, they certainly had a bunch of disappointing seasons. The Bulls have been undergoing a re-build for a few years now. Drafting a potential young star in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/whiteco01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Coby White<\/a><\/strong>, to pair along with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/l\/lavinza01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zach LaVine<\/a><\/strong>, and\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/markkla01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lauri Markkanen<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, they have set themselves up for a potential big three later on.
