According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> are trading Jerami Grant<\/a><\/strong> to the Denver Nuggets<\/a> for a 2020 first round draft pick.\u00a0Grant is the son of NBA legend Harvey Grant<\/a><\/strong> and the nephew of former NBA legend Horace Grant<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma City Thunder Agree to Trade Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Oklahoma City Thunder are deep in the luxury tax so they put Andre Roberson<\/a><\/strong>, Steven Adams<\/a><\/strong> and Dennis Schroder<\/strong><\/a> on the trading block, but ultimately traded away Grant. This move saves<\/a> them $40 million in luxury tax. The Thunder are in rebuilding mode with the trade of Paul George<\/a><\/strong> so it was unlikely that he would be re-signed after this season. The Thunder traded George for Danilo Gallinari<\/a><\/strong>, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander<\/a><\/strong> and a record five first-round picks. Gallinari will start<\/a> in place of Grant.<\/p>\n
