According to <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/wojespn?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adrian Wojnarowski<\/a>, Bogdanovic will sign a four-year deal with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/utah-jazz\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Utah Jazz<\/a> worth $73 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Indiana&#39;s Bojan Bogdanovic has agreed to a four-year, $73M deal with the Utah Jazz, league sources tells EPN.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wojespn\/status\/1145459162543022080?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">June 30, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h1>Utah Jazz Signs Bojan Bogdanovic<\/h1>\n<p>The veteran forward has found a good place in league becoming a sharpshooter off the bench for multiple teams, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/brooklyn-nets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Nets<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/washington-wizards\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Washington Wizards<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/indiana-pacers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Indiana Pacers.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/o\/oladivi01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Victor Oladipo<\/a> went down this season due to a ruptured quad tendon, many believed that the Pacers playoff hopes were over. However, Bogdanovic thrived in the absence of Oladipo. The forward averaged 23.1 points per game in February and 21.8 points in March as the Pacers primary scorer. Indiana finished the season with a 48-34 record in the regular season, grabbing the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/boston-celtics\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston Celtics<\/a> swept the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>In just two seasons with the Pacers, Bogdanovic averaged 16 points and 4 rebounds per game, shooting 48 percent on the field. In addition, he was ranked<a href=\"http:\/\/m\/nba\/player-stat\/three-point-field-goal-percentage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> 12th overall<\/a> in three-point percentage this season, shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n<h2>How Bogdanovic Will Fit In Utah<\/h2>\n<p>Acquiring sharpshooter Bogdanovic is an upgrade for the Jazz. Comparatively, shooter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/i\/inglejo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Ingles<\/a> averaged 39.1 percent from three last season for the Jazz.<\/p>\n<p>Signing Bogdanovic was most likely a decision to replace <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/f\/favorde01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Derrick Favors<\/a>. The Jazz can decline their team-option to bring back Favors for another season to stay under the salary cap. As of now, no decision has been made on waiving Favors or trading him.<\/p>\n<p>If Bogdanovic were to start this upcoming season, he will play with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/i\/inglejo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Joe Ingles<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/conlemi01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Conley<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/mitchdo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Donovan Mitchell<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/goberru01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rudy Gobert<\/a> to complete the starting lineup.<\/p>\n<p>The Jazz struggled to match the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/houston-rockets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Houston Rockets<\/a> hot shooting in the playoffs, which resulted in an ugly first-round defeat.
