The good news is there may be another championship coming to Cleveland in the next couple of months. No, it will not be from the Browns.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Los Angeles Clippers:<\/strong>\u00a06-1 (Up two spots)<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Clippers<\/b> look incredible early on in the season. Their only loss has come against <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/westbru01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Russell Westbrook<\/b><\/a> and his <strong>Thunder<\/strong> team. Their last victory was a 32 point drubbing against the helpless <b>Pistons<\/b>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/p\/paulch01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Chris Paul<\/b><\/a> looks like the same player he was three years ago, maybe even better. The <b>Clippers<\/b> are scary good.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Golden Warriors Warriors:\u00a0<\/b>5-2 (No movement)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Warriors look indestructible one day against the <b>Thunder<\/b>, and very vulnerable against the <b>Lakers<\/b> the next day. Which <b>Warriors<\/b> team will show up when the games get a little more important down the stretch?<\/p>\n<h5>4<b>. San Antonio Spurs:<\/b> 5-2 (Down two spots)<\/h5>\n<p>The <strong>Spurs<\/strong> went 2-2 this week but are still 5-2 on the season. They did look a bit shaky during their ugly loss to the Clippers, but no one should be worried. Coach Pop is still running the team, and by the looks of their upcoming schedule, they may be able to win 10 straight.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Oklahoma City Thunder:\u00a0<\/b>6-1 (No movement)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>How amazing was it to watch Westbrook\u00a0block <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/duranke01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Kevin Durant<\/b> <\/a>out there on Thursday night? Losing to the Warriors is nothing to be ashamed of. Clearly, the Thunder\u2019s loss isn\u2019t on their mind anymore, as they beat their next two opponents by a combined score of 32. Keep doing you, Westbrook.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Toronto Raptors:\u00a0<\/b>4-2 (No movement)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Just as everything looked to be going very smoothly for the Raptors, they go on and lose to the lowly <b>Kings<\/b>. The good news is, they are sitting at 4-2 with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/derozde01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>DeMar DeRozan<\/b><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/l\/lowryky01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Kyle Lowry<\/b><\/a> as focused as ever.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Utah Jazz:\u00a0<\/b>5-3 (Up two spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/haywago01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Gordon Hayward<\/b><\/a> is back and it doesn\u2019t look like he\u2019s missed one minute of basketball. The <b>Jazz<\/b> are firing on all cylinders and their defense looks to be one of the best in the league once again. They look poised to challenge for home court advantage in the playoffs.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Charlotte Hornets:\u00a0<\/b>5-1 (Up six spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Hornets haven\u2019t had the most difficult schedule in the NBA, but they are taking advantage by beating the teams they should be beating.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/walkeke02.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <b>Kemba Walker<\/b><\/a> looks better than he\u2019s ever looked, especially in their 22 point victory over the struggling <strong>Pacers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li><b>Atlanta Hawks:\u00a0<\/b>5-2 (Down two spots)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/millspa01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Paul Millsap<\/b><\/a> looks great as always and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/howardw01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Dwight Howard<\/b><\/a> keeps on impressing. However, the Hawks will need <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/s\/schrode01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Dennis Schroder <\/b><\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bazemke01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Kent Bazemore<\/b><\/a> to be a lot better in order to keep up with the top teams in the <strong>Eastern Conference<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5>10<b>. Portland Trail Blazers:<\/b> 5-3 (Up two spots)<\/h5>\n<p>After a slow couple of games to start the season, the Trail Blazers seem to be picking it up. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/l\/lillada01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Damian Lillard<\/b><\/a> is continuing his rise as one of the best point guards in the NBA while <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/mccolcj01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>C.J McCollum <\/b><\/a>seems to be okay with the No. 2 role on offense. With <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/a\/aminual01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Al-Farouq\u00a0Aminu<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0getting banged up in last night\u2019s game, Portland will need<a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/t\/turneev01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b> Evan Turner<\/b><\/a> to turn things around and finally start playing well.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"11\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Boston Celtics:\u00a0<\/b>3-3 (Down three spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/brownja02.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Jaylen Brown<\/b><\/a> looks like he is going to be a very promising player in the future, but <b>Celtics<\/b> fans probably cannot wait for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/horfoal01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Al Horford<\/b> <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/crowdja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Jae Crowder<\/b><\/a> to recover from their injuries.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"12\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Houston Rockets:\u00a0<\/b>4-3 (Up four spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hardeja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>James<\/b> <b>Harden<\/b><\/a> has three games with at least 30 points and 15 assists this season. To put how incredible that is into perspective, here\u2019s a stat: it only happened four times all of last season where any player had 30 points and 15 assists in a game.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"13\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Chicago Bulls:\u00a0<\/b>4-3 (Down three spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Bulls<\/b> win three in a row and look like one of the best teams in the league. The <b>Bulls<\/b> lose three in a row and look like one of the worst teams in the league. They then they go and beat the <b>Magic<\/b> by 32 points. This team is very confusing, and this may be the story all season long.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"14\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Detroit Pistons:\u00a0<\/b>4-3 (Down one spot)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After going 4-2 and looking really good while doing so, the <b>Pistons<\/b> went into Los Angeles and lost to the <b>Clippers<\/b> by 32 points. At least <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/drumman01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Andre<\/b> <b>Drummond<\/b><\/a> showed up, posting a double double in the blowout.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"15\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Memphis Grizzlies:\u00a0<\/b>4-4 (Up one spot)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Grizzlies<\/b> may actually end up over .500 if all their players can stay healthy. However, that may be one of the biggest ifs in the NBA.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"16\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Milwaukee Bucks:\u00a0<\/b>4-3 (Up three spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Bucks<\/b> seemed to be on their way to a 5-2 record, but a horrific showing in overtime to the then-winless <strong>Mavericks<\/strong> prevented that. On a good note, every time the Greek Freak steps onto the court, it is going to be must-see TV.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"17\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Indiana<\/b> <b>Pacers:\u00a0<\/b>3-4 (Down seven spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>What is going on with the <b>Indiana<\/b> <b>Pacers<\/b>? They just can\u2019t seem to get the chemistry going. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/t\/teaguje01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Jeff<\/b> <b>Teague<\/b><\/a> hasn\u2019t looked like the player the <b>Pacers<\/b> thought they were getting this offseason. However, if all goes right, the <b>Pacers<\/b> will be fine in the long run.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"18\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Los Angeles Lakers:\u00a0<\/b>4-4 (Up eight spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>So the <b>Lakers<\/b> have actually looked pretty good this season. That\u2019s what happens when you bring in a great coach like <b>Luke<\/b> <b>Walton<\/b> to jump start a rebuilding process. Even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/y\/youngni01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Nick<\/b> <b>Young<\/b><\/a> is playing well. Everybody wins!<\/p>\n<ol start=\"19\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Orlando Magic:\u00a0<\/b>3-4 (Up six spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After losing three in a row to start the season, the <b>Magic<\/b> reeled off three straight wins, albeit against three weaker opponents. With a tough four game stretch coming up, we may see what this team is really about.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"20\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Denver Nuggets:\u00a0<\/b>3-4 (Up two spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Nuggets<\/b> beat down a good Celtics team in Boston, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/mudiaem01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Emmanuel\u00a0Mudiay<\/strong><\/a> scoring 24 points in the first half. That\u2019s the good news. The bad news is Mudiay finished the game with 30.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"21\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>New York Knicks:\u00a0<\/b>3-4 (Down one spot)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Knicks<\/b> offense has gotten better since the first week of the season but they must get the ball to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/p\/porzikr01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Kristaps\u00a0Porzingis<\/strong><\/a> more often. They need to realize that he is the future of this organization.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"22\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Sacramento Kings:\u00a0<\/b>4-5 (Up two spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Did anyone guess the <b>Kings<\/b> would beat the <b>Raptors<\/b> in Toronto after losing their first four games of their Eastern Conference road trip? Didn\u2019t think so. The <b>Kings<\/b> have now won two in a row after beating the <b>Pelicans<\/b> last night. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/couside01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>DeMarcus Cousins<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>likes his new coach.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"23\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Miami Heat:\u00a0<\/b>2-4 (Down six spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <strong>Heat<\/strong> look a bit worse than average right now, plain and simple. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/winslju01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Justise<\/b> <b>Winslow<\/b> <\/a>needs to get his shooting in check if the team\u00a0want to win more ball games.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"24\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Phoenix Suns:\u00a0<\/b>2-6 (Up four spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>They may not be getting many wins in <b>Phoenix<\/b>, but they should be enjoying watching their team play. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/warretj01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>T.J<\/b> <b>Warren<\/b><\/a> has looked really good in the early goings and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bookede01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Devin<\/b> <b>Booker<\/b><\/a> is starting to heat up. The future looks bright.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"25\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Minnesota Timberwolves: <\/b>1-5 (Down six spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <strong>Wolves\u00a0<\/strong>may not be ready to make the playoffs this year after all; but they definitely should not be playing this bad. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/t\/townska01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Karl-Anthony Towns<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/wiggian01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Andrew\u00a0Wiggins <\/strong><\/a>look good, but a nine point loss to the <b>Nets<\/b> should not happen to a team with this much potential.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"26\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Washington Wizards:<\/b> 1-5 (Down two spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <strong>Wizards<\/strong> shouldn\u2019t be this bad and they aren\u2019t actually this bad. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bealbr01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Bradley<\/b> <b>Beal<\/b><\/a> is starting to get hot and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/walljo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>John\u00a0Wall <\/strong><\/a>can\u2019t be asked to do much more than he\u2019s already doing. Things should start to turn around sooner than later in Washington.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"27\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Dallas Mavericks:\u00a0<\/b>2-6 (Down five spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Mavs<\/b> have won two in a row and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/barneha02.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Harrison<\/b> <b>Barnes<\/b><\/a> may actually be the player the organization thought they were getting this offseason. There is reason to be optimistic in Dallas.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"28\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Brooklyn Nets:\u00a0<\/b>3-4 (Up two spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <b>Nets<\/b> moved up two spots in this weeks power rankings and are only one game behind .500 very early on the season. That\u2019s got to be a win, right Brooklyn fans?<\/p>\n<ol start=\"29\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>New Orleans Pelicans:\u00a0<\/b>0-8 (Down two spots)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/davisan02.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Anthony<\/b> <b>Davis<\/b><\/a> is getting it done every time he takes the floor, but there is no way he is actually enjoying playing basketball right now. No other Pelicans starters scored more than five points in last night\u2019s matchup. Things may get worse before they get better in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"30\">\n<li>\n<h5><b>Philadelphia 76ers:\u00a0<\/b>0-6 (No movement)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Another number one overall pick at the end of the season would look real nice next to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/e\/embiijo01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Joel<\/b> <b>Embiid<\/b><\/a>.
