They are willing to deal the <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/06\/02\/phoenix-suns-2019-nba-draft-targets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sixth pick<\/a> in the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019-nba-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2019 NBA Draft<\/a>\u00a0in order to do so.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Phoenix Suns Reportedly Shopping the Sixth Pick in the 2019 NBA Draft<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h2><strong>Phoenix Suns Potential Trade Packages for the Sixth Pick<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Phoenix Suns have a good, young nucleus of players to build around.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=bookede01,bookede02&amp;search=Devin+Booker&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Devin Booker<\/a><\/strong> is an elite level scorer and already has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/boxscores\/201703240BOS.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">70 point game<\/a> under his belt.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/a\/aytonde01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deandre Ayton<\/a><\/strong> had a fantastic rookie season, averaging 16.3 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game, shooting 58 percent from the field. New general manager, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jonesja02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James Jones<\/a><\/strong>, would like to add some veteran leadership to that outstanding young duo as the Suns are on the cusp of completing their rebuild. Who are potential trade partners for the Suns that could offer the best package?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Houston Rockets<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h5><strong>Houston Rockets Receive &#8211; T.J. Warren, Josh Jackson, Tyler Johnson, 6th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Phoenix Suns Receive &#8211; Chris Paul<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h3><strong>The Fit for the Houston Rockets<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/houston-rockets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Houston Rockets<\/a> were once again ousted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/golden-state-warriors\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Golden State Warriors<\/a> in the playoffs. Rockets general manager Daryl Morey was not happy with the loss to the Warriors. He has put every player on the roster not named <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hardeja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James Harden<\/a><\/strong>, on the trade block. The Rockets add depth with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/warretj01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">T.J. It will be tough to pull off. The first day\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/johnsty01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyler Johnson<\/a><\/strong> is eligible to be traded is June 29th, which is after the 2019 NBA Draft. As a result, the Suns would be acting on good faith by selecting whoever the Rockets wanted with the sixth pick in the draft. The Suns include Johnson in the trade to make salaries match.<\/p>\n<p>James Jones only executes this trade if he thinks Booker and Ayton are franchise players and if he believes adding a player like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/p\/paulch01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chris Paul<\/a> <\/strong>would push them towards the top of the western conference.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Washington Wizards<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h5><strong>Washington Wizards Receive &#8211; T.J. Warren, Mikal Bridges, 6th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Phoenix Suns Receive &#8211; John Wall, 9th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h3><strong>The Fit for the Washington Wizards<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/washington-wizards\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Washington Wizards<\/a> execute this trade to move up three spots in the draft and get off of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/w\/walljo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">John Wall<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s five-year contract. T.J. Warren and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bridgmi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mikal Bridges<\/a> <\/strong>are both solid wing players who would provide nice depth for the Wizards. There is a high probability that Wall will sit the entire 2019-2020 NBA season so this move will be for the future.
