He&#8217;s no longer a black hole on offense as he was for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/minnesota-timberwolves\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>. In fact, he&#8217;s improved a lot ever since he got traded to the Jazz. He&#8217;s an above average defender and an above average playmaker. He&#8217;s a player that would fit with a lot of teams.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Utah Jazz Inform Ricky Rubio He Is Not a Priority<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h2><strong>Where Do The Utah Jazz Go From Here?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The decision by the Jazz to not bring Rubio back is confusing. He fits in very well with their defensive-minded approach. Some top free agency options to replace Rubio include <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/collida01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Darren Collison<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/beverpa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Beverley<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Collison and Beverly are similar players to Rubio in terms of defense, though Beverley is the best defender out of the three. The Mavericks are one of the few teams that need a point guard. The Mavericks don&#8217;t really have that much defensive talent on their roster, so adding Rubio, who is a good defender can help.<\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Chicago Bulls<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There have been quite a few reports that the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprobasketball.com\/nba-teams\/chicago-bulls\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chicago Bulls<\/a> are trying to move on from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/dunnkr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kris Dunn<\/a><\/strong>. If the reports that the Bulls will trade the seventh pick in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnba.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019-nba-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2019 NBA Draft<\/a> for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/balllo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lonzo Ball<\/a><\/strong> are true, the Bulls might be better off pursuing Rubio in free agency. Lonzo Ball is younger, but trading away the seventh pick in the 2019 NBA Draft for a player that&#8217;s injury prone and can&#8217;t shoot is a big risk.
