Week 10 of the 2026 WNBA season ended with some outstanding player performances. Between career-high nights, notable streaks, and broken records, the recent stretch not disappoint.<\/p>\r\n
While dealing with a back injury that has kept her sidelined for part of the season, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark<\/a> wanted to get back on a roll. In Friday night’s game against the Seattle Storm, Clark<\/a> shot the lights out for a career-high 45 points<\/a> along with 10 assists. It marked the Fever’s first double-double with those numbers, as well as the league’s first 40-point, 10-assist game of the season.<\/p>\r\n Clark shot 60% from 3-point range with six made three-pointers, making her the fastest to reach 200 career threes, per ESPN. On the defensive end, she recorded four steals and two blocks. This elite outing was one for the record books. On top of it, the Fever narrowly came away with a 110-107 win.<\/p>\r\n Kelsey Mitchell<\/a> stepped up for the Fever when Clark was out. During that time, Mitchell found her shooting rhythm and has been one of the most consistent players this season. In last Wednesday\u2019s game against the Golden State Valkyries, the Fever guard recorded her 16th 20-point game of the season. A few nights later against the Storm, Mitchell finished with 30 points.<\/p>\r\n Despite playing on a back-to-back the following night against the New York Liberty, the Fever guard continued her streak with a 33-point outing. Mitchell shot an extremely efficient 71.4% from the floor. Her performance propelled the Fever to a 108-88 win over the Liberty.<\/p>\r\n Angel Reese<\/a> is leading the WNBA in double-doubles with 17 on the year. In last Sunday\u2019s game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Reese recorded 23 points and 13 rebounds, along with two assists and three steals. Not only was the center strong on offense, but her defensive presence helped lead the Atlanta Dream back into the win column.<\/p>\r\n In last Friday\u2019s game against the Toronto Tempo, Reese put up an almost identical stat line with 23 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and three steals, once again leading the Dream to victory. The back-to-back wins were the first after a brutal five-game losing streak.<\/p>\r\n This season, Kayla McBride<\/a> has been a strong scorer for the Minnesota Lynx. Due to the crafty playmaking from teammate Olivia Miles<\/a>, McBride has found ways to score all over the court. Last Monday, the Lynx faced off against the Phoenix Mercury. Minnesota narrowly came away with the win thanks to McBride’s career-high 37 points. She also shot 11-of-17 from the field and 6-of-11 from three. On the defensive end, McBride recorded four steals and two blocks.<\/p>\r\n In the following game for the Lynx, McBride recorded 24 points on 50% shooting from the floor. Last Saturday against the Portland Fire, some of Miles’<\/a> 10 assists helped set McBride up for success. She ended that game with a team-high 24 points.<\/p>\r\n Playing in her 15th season in the league, Nneka Ogwumike<\/a> has been on a roll this season. Being traded to the Los Angeles Sparks has positioned Ogwumike as a leader on the team. With the absence of star guard Kelsey Plum<\/a>, someone has needed to step up as the main scorer. Even playing against a strong defense in the Minnesota Lynx<\/a>, Ogwumike put up 23 points and 12 rebounds. The forward also shot 62.5% during the game.<\/p>\r\n On Friday night against the Chicago Sky, Ogwumike recorded another double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. To wrap up the week for the Sparks, they faced the Dallas Wings.
