In 58 games for Miami, Powell averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 29.6 minutes. He shot 47% from the floor and 39.6% from 3-point range on 7.1 attempts per game. With Miami, he found the perfect place and was the sole Heat player to become an All-Star this season. The trade may have been unexpected, but Powell was quick to catch up with Miami, a move he said fulfilled his “childhood dream.”<\/a><\/p>\n
