The Washington Wizards have had several notable injuries this season, limiting their success throughout another tanking campaign. The franchise’s new face, Trae Young<\/a>, only played five games for Washington before reinjuring his quadriceps. Young’s co-star, Anthony Davis<\/a>, has yet to debut for the Wizards<\/a> and may have to wait until the 2026-27 season. Aside from them, Alex Sarr<\/a>, Bilal Coulibaly<\/a>, Tre Johnson<\/a>, and Cam Whitmore<\/a> have all had injuries sideline them for multiple games, with Whitmore getting the worst of it.<\/p>\n

Now, a new name joins the list: Kyshawn George<\/a>. The Wizards have officially stated that the sophomore forward has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an elbow injury. While his season was cut short, the forward has plenty to be happy about.<\/p>\n

Wizards Sophomore To Miss Rest Of Season With Elbow Injury<\/h2>\n

George sustained a Grade 2 ulnar collateral ligament tear in his left elbow at the beginning of March against the Houston Rockets. The forward has not played since, and the Wizards are treating his injury very conservatively. Despite an unfortunate situation, George shouldn’t hang his head. The Miami product had an exceptional season and has no doubt cemented himself as a cornerstone of Washington’s young core.<\/p>\n
