Majerle saw 99 minutes in 18 appearances at North Dakota State. He finished the season with 18 points on 6 of 22 shooting from the field (22.7%) and 1 of 8 from beyond the arc. Additionally, he added 16 rebounds (four offensive), nine assists, and three steals.

Marjerle is in the transfer portal for the fourth time in his collegiate career, which began in 2022 at Central Michigan. Majerle was considered a two-star prospect after spending a prep season at Brewster Academy and ultimately committed to CMU, his father’s alma mater. He struggled as a freshman, averaging 4.0 points on 3.9 shots with shooting splits of 33.9/26.7/67.9. He scored in double-figures twice in 23 minutes a game over 30 appearances.

Majerle took a medical redshirt in 2023-24 and then played at Pima CC (Arizona) in 2024-25. Majerle had a solid season at Pima CC and, most importantly, regained his shooting form, making 72 treys at 38%. He will have one season left and could garner some interest from mid-major schools.

Majerle profiles a “3-and-D” wing who has s a clean, repeatable catch‑and‑shoot motion. Majerle has a strong frame, at 6-4 and 200 pounds, and competes on the defensive end. He is seen as a system defender with excellent instincts and strength.

Dan Majerle was a three-time all-star and two-time all- NBA second-team defensive selection. Will keep the door open to returning.”

Davis-Fleming was a key rotational piece for Mississippi State, which went 13-19 for its first losing campaign since 2015-16. The 6-10 forward is limited offensively at this stage, but is a vertical threat with a soft touch around the rim. He possesses real size and thrives as a rim-protector and on the offensive glass. More importantly, he improved as the season went on and has huge upside.

Davis-Fleming averaged 3.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 67.8% from the field in 20 minutes a game. Davis-Fleming recorded three double-figure scoring games and posted two blocks in 10 of his 19 SEC contests. His best game came against Ole Miss in January, where he finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.

However, Davis-Fleming needs to improve his offensive game and avoid fouls. He also needs to improve his foul-shooting, feel for the game, and mobility – specifically on the defensive end with lateral movement and switching.

© Joe Rondone, Arizona Republic/Imagn Images

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOB6YDMHaLF" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 5200px; aspect-ratio: 5200/3756;" ></smartframe-embed>

Virginia Tech Izaiah Paza Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Virginia Tech sophomore Izaiah Paza will enter the transfer portal, Tipton said. Paza, who only saw nine minutes a game in 18 appearances for the Hokies, was at Delaware in 2024-25. The 6-4 guard was named the CAA Rookie of the Year in his lone season with the Blue Hens, averaging 11.3 points on 51.7% shooting, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.

Pasha is a slashing combo guard with playmaking ability who excels at getting downhill. While he has the frame to defend all three backcourt positions, questions remain about his technique and consistency on that end. Also, his athleticism is a question mark.

Paza could garner some interest from high-majors as he drew interest from Gonzaga and Texas Tech, among others, last year.

“Plenty of other schools were interested around this time last season when Pasha entered the portal,” Griffin McVeigh of On3 said. “Of course, Virginia Tech ended up as the winner.
