Ahead of a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/2025\/04\/29\/amazons-nba-coverage-adds-dwyane-wade-and-candace-parker\/\" target=\"_self\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">season filled with streaming options<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the tech giant will reportedly roll out an immersive viewing experience with one of the NBA\u2019s premier franchises.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Lakers Fans Could Have New Way to Watch Thanks to Apple<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Select Lakers Games Coming to Apple Vision Pro<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/797970\/apple-vision-pro-immersive-nba-lakers-games\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Verge<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Apple will offer a \u201cselection\u201d of Lakers games through its spatial computer, Apple Vision Pro. The AR\/VR headset already offers the ability to <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/guide\/apple-vision-pro\/watch-sports-tanbbc71b783\/visionos#:~:text=In%20the%20Apple%20TV%20app%2C%20you%20can%20enjoy%20a%20wide,game%2C%20then%20tap%20Live%20Now.\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">watch live games<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. However, Apple\u2019s new venture will mark its first live immersive sports broadcasts on the platform. The company will use <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/streaming\/entertainment\/wish-you-could-be-courtside-at-a-lakers-game-put-your-vision-pro-back-on-and-fire-up-the-nba-app\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">special versions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blackmagic Design\u2019s URSA Cine Immersive Live cameras, which will be placed courtside and under each basket.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cVision Pro users will be able to feel the intensity of each game as if they were courtside, with perspectives that are impossible to capture in traditional broadcasts,\u201d Apple wrote in a Thursday statement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spectrum Sportsnet, the Lakers\u2019 main broadcast partner, will assist Apple in distributing these games. They \u201cwill be accessible to authenticated Spectrum SportsNet subscribers, as well as Spectrum Internet customers, via the Spectrum SportsNet app in the Lakers\u2019 territory,\u201d according to Spectrum\u2019s <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/corporate.charter.com\/newsroom\/spectrum-introduces-the-spectrum-app-store\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">press release<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe game replay and highlights in Apple Immersive will also be available on demand via the Spectrum SportsNet app across the Spectrum footprint and on the NBA App for national and international fans,\u201d the company added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exact Lakers games to be featured on Apple Vision Pro will be <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.uploadvr.com\/apple-vision-pro-la-leakers-live-apple-immersive-announcement\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">revealed \u201clater this fall\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and require visionOS 26 or later.
