The Dallas Mavericks may have picked up their replacement for the recently released Olivier-Maxence Prosper<\/a>, coming to terms on a contract agreement with Jamarion Sharp<\/a>, a 7-foot-5 center who played 29 games with their G League affiliate in 2024-25 (h\/t HoopsHype insider Michael Scotto).<\/p>\n

As the Mavericks have 15 players on standard deals, they will likely have either signed the slender shot-blocker to a two-way or Exhibit 10 contract.<\/p>\n

Frankly, it’s more likely to be an Exhibit 10 contract that forces him to prove he deserves their final two-way slot. Nevertheless, by keeping him in their farm system, they can continue to monitor his post-college development. With that in mind, the 24-year-old averaged 6.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in 21.6 minutes per game with the Texas Legends last season. Though he wasn’t a prolific scorer, his efficiency was exemplary as he shot 62.3 percent from the field.<\/p>\n
