Then there&#8217;s Los Angeles Lakers star point guard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/d\/doncilu01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Luka Doncic<\/a> (Slovenia), who recently became the fourth player in EuroBasket history <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EuroBasket\/status\/1962151713474830795\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">to record a triple-double<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Simone Fontecchio Puts Heat On Notice With EuroBasket 2025 Heater<\/h2>\n<p>During Sunday&#8217;s EuroBasket slate, Miami Heat forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/f\/fontesi01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Simone Fontecchio<\/a> reminded basketball fans why his game can&#8217;t be downplayed. He may not be mentioned in the same breath as Jokic, Antetokounmpo, Sengun and Doncic. In fact, the Pescara native went undrafted in 2017 and didn&#8217;t sign with an NBA team until 2022. Now, he&#8217;s a three-year NBA veteran who&#8217;s averaged a career-high 10.5 points per game in 2023-24.<\/p>\n<h3>The Last Word On Simone Fontecchio<\/h3>\n<p>After failing to capitalize on his momentum last season, Fontecchio is poised for a bounceback year. When he goes into training camp with Miami, he&#8217;ll already be in rhythm.
