She reached the milestone with a jumper in the lane at the 2:50 mark. This marked the third consecutive season in which she set a new record. Thomas scored 11 of her 12 points in the second half to go along with her 16 rebounds and 15 assists.<\/p>\n<h4>Thomas Flourishing in Phoenix<\/h4>\n<p>The 33-year-old also finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 16 assists in a win on Friday, and on Wednesday against the Sparks, she became the first player in WNBA history to post at least 10 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists in a single game. She also became the first player in WNBA or NBA history to record at least 12 rebounds and 15 assists in back-to-back games.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think this has been my game my entire career,\u201d <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/story\/_\/id\/46085156\/mercury-alyssa-thomas-sets-record-7th-triple-double-season\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thomas, who was battling an illness, said<\/a>. \u201cA lot of credit to my teammates for knocking down their open shots. She went on to secure her seventh triple-double in August, an achievement unmatched in WNBA history. No other player has recorded more than one triple-double in a single calendar month, and no one has more than four in an entire career.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old forward has played a key role in the Mercury\u2019s push for the postseason, helping the team hold fourth place with a 22-14 record.
